Captain Corey Taylor and the rest of Stone Sour headlined the ninth voyage of Shiprocked.  Heading to The Bahamas and back, Stone Sour performed twice to a crowd of Shiprockers who swayed with the band every song.  Below are two separate photo galleries from each set.

The first performance was on the second night of the cruise in the ship’s theater.  Opening with “Taipei Person/Allah Tea”, Stone Sour lit up the costumed up crowd with Taylor addressing the crowd to finally cut lose, even to those who had already had no idea where they were from the abundance of alcohol given from the cruises’ many bars.  Click on any photo below to open this gallery.

The band’s second performance closed out Shiprocked on the final night.  On an extremely windy voyage that went on past midnight, Stone Sour played a collection of songs from Hydrograd all the way back to 2002’s debut.  It marks 16 years since Stone Sour hit the scene and it’s been a big ride ever since.  Featuring an encore with “Gone Soverign/Absolute Zero” and “Fabuless”, the band gave everyone a night to remember.  Click on any photo below to open the gallery.

Stone Sour will be on tour with Halestorm and Red Sun Rising on specific dates for the next few months until festival season starts.  Hydrograd is available now and you can check out some of the songs from the album below.

Myles Kennedy burst on the music scene in 1990, but it wasn¹t until 1995, through his band The Mayfield Four, that he gained some notoriety. It was when the Mayfield Four toured opening for hitmakers Creed that Myles Kennedy would meet Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips. This meeting would eventually lead to the formation of Alter Bridge, the band that would become Myles¹ calling card to the world. The band released their debut album One Day Remains that would end up being certified Gold by the RIAA and the band would go on to sell millions of records worldwide over the course of 5 studio albums with the band. In 2008, the legacy of Myles Kennedy was circling the music industry and eventually found its way to members of Led Zeppelin. A now legendary story, Myles was asked to jam with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham for a potential project that never materialized. In 2009, Guns N¹ Roses guitarist Slash was working on a solo project and tapped Myles Kennedy to do vocals on 2 songs on that release. That partnership would lead to Myles becoming the vocalist for his other rock band, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. They have released 2 albums under that moniker. This relationship would also lead to Myles Kennedy singing for the iconic Guns N¹ Roses at their Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction in 2012 after band founder Axl Rose was unable to attend. Through Myles’ various projects, he has appeared on The Tonight Show; Jimmy Kimmel Live; Conan; has had music used by the WWE, Major League Baseball and NASCAR to name a few; and appeared in the motion picture Rock Star. 2018 will mark a new chapter in Myles¹ career as he will be releasing his long-awaited debut solo album Year Of The Tiger. The album is a whole new direction for Myles creatively and showcases the talent that has made him one of the premiere frontmen in modern music today.

Extinction A.D. Debuts “Age Of Revenge” From Upcoming LP Decimation Treaty

New York Metal act Extinction A.D. has debuted another single today exclusively via MetalSucks called “Age of Revenge” with plans to release a brand new record next month.

“The most recent presidential election was such a complete scam and a disheartening proceeding,” says vocalist/guitarist Rick Jimenez. “The American public was left with even worse options than ever before and it’s never been more obvious that the system is utterly broken. Two sides of the same evil coin; this one focuses more on the megalomaniac than the egomaniac.”

Extinction A.D. will release their second full length titled Decimation Treaty on February 16, 2018, via Good Fight Music. The sophomore full length was recorded and mixed by Joe Cincotta (Suffocation, Obituary) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Iron Reagan, Converge, Obituary). Pre-orders are now live.

“Age of Revenge” and the recently announced “In The Wake of Uprising,” are now available on all streaming platforms and the iTunes music store.

The band will hit the road this winter in support of Darkest Hour and Whores. All tour dates can be found below.

Long Island metal vets Rick Jimenez, Pieter van den Berg and Mike Sciulara, along with Ian Cimaglia, who is making his first official recording appearance as the bands lead guitar player, are back with another unrelenting and ferocious thrash explosion with Decimation Treaty. The “question everything” approach of the band’s lyrics combined with their unmatched raw live energy and 2018 power and precision approach to classic thrash metal has elevated them to a whole new level.

The band formed in 2013 and has been releasing music and touring steadily throughout North America, as seen on tour with Havok, Municipal Waste, Darkest Hour, Testament, D.R.I, Unearth, Exodus, Venom and many more.

in St. Louis, MO on January 15th, 2018.

On a single-digit weather night in St. Louis, hundreds of fans swarmed into The Pageant to see the double headline show with Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria.  As brutally cold as it was, the crowd was ready for the show.  Asking Alexandria is currently promoting their self-titled album that was just released last month.  The current single “Into The Fire” is being played nationwide on FM and XM.

At one point during the show, Danny Worsnop took to the mic and addressed the crowd saying “You guys are what this is all about.”  To a crowd of cold but happy fans ready to lose their minds, I see where he is coming from.  Asking Alexandria has earned fans the world over who are willing to go out of their way to see the band perform.

Anthony Vincent of 10 Second Songs Releases “10 Songs In The Style Of Korn (ft. Jared Dines)”

Anthony Vincent of Ten Second Songs has released his newest video, “10 Songs In The Style Of Korn (ft. Jared Dines)”.

“I’m more than psyched to be collaborating with my buddy Jared Dines on this video; he laid down all the bass and guitars, which really set the tone to get into Jonathan Davis mode. I’ve always thought Korn would make an amazing version of “I’m Blue”, so I’m glad I got the opportunity to do so!” – Anthony Vincent

British Emo Rockers Moose Blood Premiere Entrancing Single ‘It’s Too Much’

Moose Blood has spent a lot of time on the road since breaking through on the national rock scene about half a decade ago. Touring two albums released just two years apart is a grueling process, and that wear and tear invigorates the latest track from the British punks’ forthcoming third LP, fittingly titled I Don’t Think I Can Do This Anymore.

“It’s Too Much” just sounds like the numbing routine of the road, an icy, entrancing expanse of repetitive riffs and mid-tempo drums, perhaps meant to evoke that unrelenting march of soundchecks and early alarm clocks. “I feel like I haven’t slept in months and it takes everything that I have to get up,” drawls guitarist Eddy Brewerton in one particularly dire point in the second verse. “Please take my home” is the final plea, repeated over and over before the guitars finally combust and peter out.

Take a listen below and drift into the headspace of Moose Blood LP number three.

I Don’t Think I Can Do This Anymore drops March 9 via Hopeless Records. In following up 2016’s Blush, they’ve also shared a new track called “Talk In Your Sleep.”

UK Act, The Hunna Release New Track “Flickin Your Hair”

Following the release of their hugely successful debut album last year, The Hunna have established themselves as one of the UK’s most in-demand bands. Returning with new music, The Hunna unveil the anthemic single ‘Flickin Your Hair’, taken from their forthcoming release, “DARE” available via 300 Entertainment.

Having experienced a rapid rise that saw the band land at #13 in the album charts only ten months into their career, The Hunna have achieved a massive amount in the year that has proceeded. From selling-out two back-to-back album tours that included London’s Kentish Town Forum and Shepherd’s Bush Empire, the band also headlined memorable nights nationwide at venues such as Glasgow’s Barrowlands, Manchester’s Academy 1 and Nottingham’s Rock City. The Hunna’s last show of the year was at Camden’s Roundhouse before a pioneering moment topping the Festival Republic Stages billings at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival. The Hunna also returned to North America in 2017 to support youthhood heroes Jimmy Eat World as well as co-headlining a tour for radio station Sirus XM.

“Flickin Your Hair” follows the nostalgic “Summer,” and infectious “Dare” and is third installment from their forthcoming release, “Dare” due May 25 via 300 Entertainment.  The song is a reminder of the alarmingly contagious energy the Watford four-piece possesses having previously been referred to as ‘Rock’s Next Big Thing’ by Kerrang Magazine.

With previous singles such as ‘Bonfire’ and ‘You & Me’ helping to earn over 45 million streams across The Hunna’s Spotify catalogue, the band have been championed by BBC Radio 1 with ‘Never Enough’ reaching B-list and gaining `support from the likes of Huw Stephens, Clara Amfo and Greg James.

Kicking off 2018 with a sold out show at London’s 02 Academy, The Hunna’s reputation as one the best live bands on the UK scene is sure to be solidified Stateside by their upcoming tour with COASTS this Spring.
