NOTHING MORE

PREMIERE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

FOR NEW SINGLE “GO TO WAR”

WITH MONSTER ENERGY AFTERSHOCK

Nothing More premiere the official music video for their new single, “Go To War” today via Monster Energy Aftershock. Directed by Wayne Isham, the video evokes the burning aggression of the track’s lyrics through a passionate bar fight between lovers. Watch it on the festival’s site: http://t.ymlp17.com/uuweuaraebmubagaqwhacaujeyy/click.php.

“I remember being invited to The Roxy because I ‘had to’ see this band from Texas many years ago. They were the first of 5. I had no expectations. And I was blown away. I immediately came back to the office and told the team this is a band that the company needs to get behind. They had their breakthrough moment at Monster Energy Aftershock 2013 and it’s only fitting to premiere ‘Go To War’ from their upcoming sophomore release together.”

–Clay Busch / Vice President of Marketing / Danny Wimmer Presents

“There’s no such thing as overnight success but there are defining moments.  For us, that moment was Aftershock 2013. I can still feel my feet boiling from the sun-drenched, black stage. I still remember my heart pounding from the energy of the crowd. We were given a shot to prove ourselves in front of every label rep from the west coast as well as many bands on the festival. Sink or swim.”

-Jonny Hawkins, Nothing More

“Go To War” is the lead single off the band’s forthcoming album The Stories We Tell Ourselves, set for release September 15 via Better Noise Records—Listen to the track HERE. The album is available for pre-order now at all digital retailers along with exclusive merch packages, signed vinyl and CDs at PledgeMusic.

Nothing More will perform at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California on Saturday, October 21. For more information on tour dates, visit: http://nothingmore.net/. For information on Monster Energy Aftershock, visit: http://t.ymlp17.com/uuweuaraebmubagaqwhacaujeyy/click.php.

Metal Maya has announced two special tribute sets by heavy metal all star band Metal Allegiance, as well as additional details about the previously announced Metal Maya / Metal Allegiance promotional giveaway. Metal Maya–a 4-day all-inclusive heavy metal destination festival vacation from October 29-November 2 at the luxurious Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun, just south of Cancun on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula–features over a dozen bands, led by Anthrax, Hatebreed, Overkill, and Superjoint (with Philip Anselmo).

Metal Allegiance founder Mark Menghi says, “We couldn’t come to Mexico during Dia de los Muertos and not honor such a sacred event ourselves. Lemmy and Cliff were the first two to come to mind. They were both major influences in not only our lives and careers, but millions of others’ as well. We played our first Metal Allegiance show on Motörhead’s Motörboat, and will be forever grateful to the man. These two were and will forever be legends. Metal Maya is in for some really killer moments!”

Metal Allegiance guest performer Kyle Sanders of Hellyeah adds, “Pretty damn honored and excited about joining my boys in Metal Allegiance down in Mexico for Metal Maya! Couldn’t think of a better place for tacos and metal! Cheers!!”

To commemorate these two special celebrations, Metal Allegiance and Nuclear Blast have partnered with Jackson Guitars and famed artist Ron Williams to provide some lucky Metal Maya guests with truly special guitars and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

I’ve been listening to Deftones since I was 14 and bought White Pony the day it was released in the year 2000.  This past Saturday was the third time I’ve been able to shoot Deftones live and each time it becomes more impressive.  Hearing “Digital Bath” live is some how invigorating and makes me remember just how much I love this band.

Deftones are currently on a co-headlining tour with Rise Against throughout the US.  Click on any photo below to open the gallery and scroll below to photos to hear “Digital Bath”.  Because it’s always a good time to hear that song.

Less than a month since the release of Rise Against’s new album Wolves, the band is currently on a co-headlining tour with Deftones featuring Thrice and Frank Iero & The Patience.  I’m not kidding when I say that people were lining up outside of the venue four hours before doors opened at 5:30PM.  In 95 degree weather Rise Against performed in front of thousands in sweaty Florida that featured an acoustic performance and closing the night with a crowd screaming along to the song “Savior”.

The Rocket Summer “Do You Feel” 10th Anniversary Vinyl Charts on Billboard

THE ROCKET SUMMER

Do You Feel 10th Anniversary Vinyl Charts On Billboard

THE ROCKET SUMMER’s vinyl release for the 10 year anniversary of Do You Feel has charted at #20 on the Billboard Vinyl Albums Chart. Released on June 2, this news comes before the start of The Rocket Summer’s 10 year tour for Do You Feel that kicks off next month in Texas.

Do You Feel is a special album within the Rocket Summer community,” says The Rocket Summer’s own BRYCE AVARY. “Fans have been asking since the album’s original release 10 years ago if it would ever finally come out on vinyl. I think I’ve been longing for it maybe just as much… As a vinyl collector myself, there’s just something about the experience of connecting to the music in a more tangible, almost spiritual way,” continues Avary. “So now after 10 years, getting to actually hold it, open the gatefold and know that fans will hear these songs off this white vinyl from their turntables is kind of a cathartic feeling that fills a long-standing void; both a mental one and a physical void on the actual record shelf where there’s been a space right in the middle of the TRS LPs.  It took a long time to get to this point. So to finally see it is wonderful.”

With official support from 888, the Do You Feel 10 Year Anniversary Tour kicks off in his home state of Texas on July 20 at Austin’s Antone’s and circles North America, hitting venues such as Dallas’ Trees (July 21), NYC’s Gramercy Theatre (August 3), Toronto’s The Mod Club (August 8),  Chicago’s The Bottom Lounge (August 12), SF’s Slim’s (Aug. 24), and Los Angeles’ The Roxy (August 25). VIP tickets are sold out across all dates, but general tickets are currently available at http://reybee.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f67b4587af2b2ef9aa80ed984&id=739416dfb5&e=222450d7d1.

Jyrki 69’s Releases New Song & Video “Bloodlust” (Feat Lemmy!)

Goth rock icon Jyrki 69, lead vocalist for Helsinki metal band, The 69 Eyes, has released a video for his macabre new song “Bloodlust” today at RollingStone.com. The track is featured on his debut solo record, Helsinki Vampire, which will be released on June 23rd via Cleopatra Records. Fans can pre-order the album now at iTunes: http://apple.co/2qcHqdV.

Jyrki 69’s new video for “Bloodlust” includes film footage from the upcoming movie “Sunset Society,” which will be released in Spring 2018 and stars the late rock-god and Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister making his last appearance post-mortem. The video also features cameos by Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses), Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns) and adult film legend Ron Jeremy, who also star in the forthcoming movie. “Sunset Society” is a film based on the iconic Sunset Strip about a pack of vampire rockers lead by Kilmister’s character. Jyrki 69’s portion of the music video for “Bloodlust” was filmed in Los Angeles at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel. The music video was directed by Vicente and Fernando Cordero of Industralism Films.

Speaking about the video with RollingStone.com, Jyrki 69 says, ““Bloodlust” is “The Lost Boys” movie taken into modern day to the Sunset Strip. Aren’t we all so glad to see that Lemmy’s doing all right? He lives forever!”

Adding on the personal impact of Kilmister, Jyrki 69 says, “Motörhead is naturally always been more than just inspiration musically, it’s a whole lifestyle which Lemmy symbolises. Life suddenly has become harder without a new Motörhead album or tour behind the corner. I met the man many times over the course of decades all over the world. Never bothered him at the Rainbow Bar & Grill! I’m proud to have the General still on board! I actually showed the video to Ron Jeremy (who’s in it too) at the Rainbow Bar & Grill last weekend, he loved it!”

Jyrki 69 recently debuted a new video for his song “Last Halloween” from Helsinki Vampire.
