Hard rock that with only three members sounds more fleshed out and full than bands with four or five. This is a step up in energy and execution from The Warning. Strong riffs and beats, no frills, and clean singing that flows well. Strong album opener in “Six Feet Deep” to set the mood with the thick riff and bass. The grit and tone is thick. Songs like “S!CK” to “Hell You Call A Dream” really have an attitude in the delivery and sound. The drum track especially stands out in moments with killer drumrolls and symbols throughout. There’s nothing truly genre-bending or redefining of rock, but I think by definition this is suppose to be standard, pure rock sound. The Warning succeeds at that. Monterrey, Mexico delivered a young band that is improving with each album and now are feeding us with something solid.
