We are thrilled to premiere Florida-based rockers Brave New World’s new music video for upcoming single “Craterhoof”, due out June 14th, 2024.
Brave New World is a group that’s been around the better part of a decade, with an impressive discography to show after all this time. With an album and three EPs under their belt, the band, which hearkens back to post-hardcore greats like Underoath and manages to capture the intrigue of modern mainstays such as Holding Abscence, crafts a familiar, engaging sound that has dazzled the Florida scene for years.
In “Craterhoof”, Brave New World embrace an audible presentation akin to Moodring and Loathe, dripping in reverb and full of hooks with a driven influence at its core. Echoing vocals and climactic guitars into the chorus, the soundscape is one to get immersed in. Distressed, impassioned shouts are an auditory assault that close out “Craterhoof” in eclectic fashion.
The “Craterhoof” video shows Brave New World performing the song with an ethereal orange backdrop. Great usage of shadows of each member further push the dreamy vibes the instrumentals create. Once the song really picks up, watching the vocalist deliver his crushing lyrics on the floor makes for a memorable moment to close out the track in convincing fashion.
Amassing more than a million streams to date on Spotify, Brave New World have garnered a steadfast, dedicated fanbase. Local fans will be delighted to see the group kick off this single with a headliner show at The Handlebar in Pensacola, with support from Blind Tiger, Kairo, and Slow Degrade, on June 21st. Followed up by sharing the stage with Evergreen Terrace in Panama City on June 22nd, the band is sure to earmark their place in the scene with a steady show schedule.
