Powerwolf – Interludium | Album Review

Power metal is supposed to be fun and Powerwolf gets that on this part new/part rarities album along with an orchestral soundtrack 2nd album. This is the cult of werewolves stepping things up a bit. The guitar and key work along with amazing hooks and bombastic singing make this such a fun listen. It’s more sing-alongs with Attila Dorn and they all pull you in and get you to shout along. Tracks like “No Prayer At Midnight” and “My Will Be Done”. Interludium is not veering away from what Powerwolf has done before. It’s definitely a continuation of other albums in tone and style, but it’s done so well here that it’s hard to not enjoy. If you are unfamiliar with Powerwolf, you’ll enjoy this. If you already are one of the wolves, you’ll LOVE this. 8/10.
