New Years Day opened up day two on the main stage at Aftershock. After headlining Warped Tour this year, New Years Day introduced themselves with some riffs and a question for the audience:
“How many of you have never seen New Years Day before?”
Ash Costello then looked around and said “OK that’s just about everyone.” It got a genuine laugh from everyone and the crowd got into the show more, which included a salute to Pantera.
