This was my first time seeing Incubus live, let alone shooting them. For a band I have known about since the days of Make Yourself, it’s crazy to think that it’s 2018 when I finally get to see them in person.
What stood out to me more than anything was that in a festival full of loud and heavy music, it was Incubus who got everyone to sing along happily and enjoy a serene California afternoon.
While the band had the video boards behind them, it was a bit difficult to see them in the glare of the sun. That did not dampen the sound however. It was a solid set and the highlight was the crowd singing along to “Pardon Me”.
