JANUARY 21 & 23, 2018 ON THE CARNIVAL LIBERTY.
The sea forgives all sins, which fits perfectly in the lyrics of “Oh Lord” from In This Moment. Performing twice, the band’s first set closed out night one as we sailed away to The Bahamas. On an extremely windy and dark night in the Atlantic Ocean, Maria Brink and company braved the elements to the point of even climbing a ladder for the song “Whore” with the ocean waves rocking us all. The deck stage performance was a stripped down version of their full stage production due to the wind, but it still opened everyone’s eyes to the theatrical presentation of In This Moment. In This Moment’s second performance on the cruise took place in Carnival Liberty’s theater. In here was that the full stage production and ritualistic performance was presented with full effect.
