Album Review: Slipknot – .5: The Gray Chapter

The Iowa kings of masked intensity bring the next album of hard rock and metal.  How does Corey Taylor and company’s 2014 entry fair after 15 years from their self-titled debut and several lineup changes?

My photos of Chiodos on The Parks and Devastation Tour on 10/10/2014!  All photos were taken by myself at Hard Rock Live Orlando.

Photos: MOTIONLESS IN WHITE

My photos of Motionless In White at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL on 10/10/2014.  MIW opened the show at Hard Rock and pointed out how this was one of the nicest venues they have ever played and how great it was to be on the stage that AFI filmed their DVD on.  There was a massive amount of red lighting and this was one of the darker lit sets, but I still was able to get a few decent photos.  Their set ended greatly with the crowd chanting A-M-E-R-I-C-A!

Photos: A DAY TO REMEMBER

My photos of A Day To Remember live at the end of the Parks and Devastation Tour in Orlando at Hard Rock Live.  All photos were taken by me on 10/10/2014.  This was one of the most fun concerts I have ever been to.  What else can you expect though when the stage performance includes confetti canons, an inflatable Jeremy ball running across the crowd, and Spiderman in a wrestling mask shooting a T-shirt gun.

…Just go through all the photos to see that I’m not insane in what I just said.

Photos: BRING ME THE HORIZON

My photos of Bring Me The Horizon at The Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando, FL on 10/10/2014.  BMTH was supporting A Day To Remember on the Parks & Devastation Tour.  The crowd was not only intense, but absolutely brutal to hear these guys.  Both the wall of death AND the sit down took place at the command of Oli Sykes.  One of the high points was hearing the entire audience scream along with Sleepwalking.  The projection backdrop completely made the set and it was the perfect addition to the live show.

Album Review: Yellowcard – Lift A Sail

The seventh full major release from Florida’s Yellowcard shows a band that has adapted and matured over their lives and career.  How will the fans of last decades alternative phenomenon feel about the presentation in 2014?

Photos: CRASH MIDNIGHT

My photos of Crash Midnight from Freebird in Jacksonville, Florida on 9/18/2014!  Crash Midnight is currently on tour with The Pretty Reckless and Adelitas Way.  This was the first time I saw a band where the guitarist drank a beer with one hand while playing a solo on his guitar neck with his other hand.  #skills
