Trivium has unveiled details of their new album, THE SIN AND THE SENTENCE (see album art / tracklisting attached).  Set for release on October 20th, THE SIN AND THE SENTENCE is available for pre-order today at all DSPs and www.trivium.org , with all pre-orders receiving instant grat downloads of the album’s title track and the newly released single, “The Heart From Your Hate” which is streaming now accompanied by an official music video on Trivium’s YouTube Channel.

Recorded with producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira) at Santa Ana, California’s Hybrid Studios, THE SIN AND THE SENTENCE finds Trivium – Matt Heafy (lead vocals, lead guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar, vocals), Paolo Gregoletto (bass) and Alex Bent (drums) – returning with their first new music since their celebrated 2015 LP, SILENCE IN THE SNOW.  The new LP also features the band’s first recordings with new drummer Bent who joined the band last year. Earlier this summer Trivium debuted the album’s incendiary title track, “The Sin And The Sentence,” the official music video for which has amassed over 1.5 Million views in just three weeks. “Trivium have come roaring back,” declared Loudwire adding, “’The Sin And The Sentence’ combines a truckload of classic Trivium dynamics to create something fresh.”

Currently wrapping up a summer of European headline dates and appearances at festivals such as Germany’s Wacken Open Air and Poland’s Woodstock Festival, Trivium will make their return to North America this fall on a co-headline tour with Arch Enemy featuring support from While She Sleeps and Fit For An Autopsy.  The tour will kick off on October 27th in Orlando, FL and make its way across the U.S. and Canada before finishing on December 6th in Houston, TX (see attached itinerary). Just two years ago, Trivium made a stunning impact with SILENCE IN THE SNOW, arriving at #3 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart and #19 on the overall Billboard 200 marking Trivium’s third consecutive Top 20 debut. Detroit, Michigan’s I PREVAIL continue their meteoric rise in the rock world with the music video for “Lifelines”, the title track off of their hit record released last October. The release comes on the heels of their Rage On The Stage tour announcement, featuring metalcore scene favorites We Came As Romans, The Word Alive, and Escape The Fate providing support. “Lifelines” shows I Prevail’s dynamic brand of rock, combining the grit of attack-oriented guitarwork and breakdowns, electronic key instrumentation, and the complementary dual vocalist performances provided by clean vocalist Brian Burkheiser and harsh vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe. “Lifelines” is a song about resilience and endurance through tough times, so it’s fitting that the video was shot in Detroit at the Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program, an organization which helps at-risk youth with educational tutoring and discipline through boxing.

In the words of singer Brian Burkheiser, “Lifelines” is no doubt our proudest video to date. We set out to create something that embodied what “Lifelines” as a song and as an album really meant to us. It centers around the harsh reality that life doesn’t care about what you have planned. The biggest moments, whether ones of amazing opportunity or painful loss, are coming no matter what. How you choose to respond makes you who you are. That’s what we wanted to express. This video became even more special to us when we had the chance to turn our creative process into a way to bring awareness to an amazing cause. The video was filmed at a magical oasis of hope called the Downtown Boxing Gym in Detroit. With great inspiration and support from the owner Coach Khali Sweeney. Coach Khali and his team are straight up HEROES, changing the lives of young people in Detroit, a place where it is greatly needed. They bring kids in from the Public School system and provide a safe environment with a focus on education first, using the self discipline of reading books together with the camaraderie that a sport like boxing. They build bodies and minds with an eye to the making of future leaders. There is no such thing as a “bad kid” to this organization. To see the positive impact this is having first hand was truly inspiring and something we couldn’t be happier to support. They are truly making positive lifelines  and we are honored to have worked with them in their home base.”

The “Lifelines” video release builds on the excitement that has followed I Prevail, seemingly since the Detroit rockers formed in 2013 and has become impossible to ignore over the past year. Last week’s announcement of Rage On The Stage follows their massive run on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour, during which the band played the Journey’s Left Foot Main Stage. Propelled by the rise of their power ballad single “Alone,” which has invaded the Top 5 of the Top Rock Songs Chart, Lifelines has been able to move over 170,000 units since its release last October, continuing to remain in the Top 20 of the iTunes Rock Albums Chart.

The Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program meanwhile currently serves more than 130 students between the ages of 7 and 18, with an ever growing waiting list. More than 75% of the enrolled students live within a 3-mile radius of the gym. Many are residents of the nearby public housing units. Their families benefit by witnessing and participating in our hands-on coaching methodology. Through education, athletics, mentorship and intervention, the Downtown Boxing Gym empowers Detroit students to be positive and productive members of society.

ALL THAT REMAINS GIVE GARTH BROOKS’ “THUNDER ROLLS”

With eight studio albums under their belt, Massachusetts-based hard rock juggernauts All That Remains show no signs of slowing down. Their album Madness dropped on April 28th via Razor & Tie Records to an overwhelmingly positive response hitting #1 US Top Hard Rock Albums and #9 US Top Rock Albums charts. The band has already toured heavily in support of the project, hitting major summer festivals like Carolina Rebellion and Montebello Rockfest, among others. They also hit the road on a headlining run, catching up with a few friends including Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, and Motionless in White. In the meantime they’re keeping things moving, today All That Remains has given new life to an unexpected cover of Garth Brooks hit single “Thunder Rolls.” Their take on the Country star’s award-winning tune, (one of singer Phil Labonte‘s favorites) is compelling, reworking the song in an epic way and making it their own. In an interview with Billboard, Labonte discussed the unexpected cover choice, sharing, “We’re continuing to push what people’s notion of what All That Remains is and what we’re allowed to do and what we’re willing to do, in what ways we’re willing to go and experiment… That’s always our point — How can we reach out to new people?”

Marvel Comics To Release Starset Original Graphic Novel, The PROX Transmissions, on October 4th

Multi-media, modern rock band Starset recently passed the 1 billion milestone total views on YouTube with their official videos and User Generated Content (UGC) videos combined. The band’s cinematic sound and rabid fan-base have driven huge numbers at the video streaming service with fans uploading an unprecedented amount of their own videos using the band’s music, giving the band led by singer Dustin Bates an unparalleled digital foothold. Starset’s stronghold at radio has added to this ascension with the band’s first single from new album Vessels, “Monster”, currently the number 2 most played song of the year at mainstream rock.

Starset tapped into powerful YouTube communities including anime and gaming which are much larger than that of music on the platform. Many fan-uploaded Starset videos have hit multi-million views and YouTube data shows Starset videos gaining nearly two million new views per day. With only two albums released to date, Starset has exceeded the total view counts of most other contemporary rock bands and have views in the same league as the Foo Fighters, Muse, Bring Me the Horizon and AWOLNATION.

Last year Billboard reported on the band’s streaming phenomenon, “Starset has had success with their own uploads to the platform: the band’s two YouTube accounts, which host official music and lyric videos, cryptic Starset Society-related teasers and audio-only streams . . . take into account fan-uploaded videos and the number of views explodes . . . six times larger and global.”

Gemini Syndrome Joins Fozzy On “Judas Rising” Tour

Gemini Syndrome has announced that they will be joining Fozzy and The Stir on select dates of “The Judas Rising Tour“. The band will be touring in support of their latest album Memento Mori (Century Media) and current radio single “Sorry Not Sorry”. The band will first hit the road for a handful of headline shows beginning on September 19th, before meeting up with Fozzy in Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 27th.

About Gemini Syndrome:

Formed in 2010, the Los Angeles-based, GEMINI SYNDROME spent their formative days opening for bands on the Sunset Strip. As their reputation within the L.A. hard rock scene grew, so did their audience. their 2013 full-length debut Lux, which landed at #3 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and yielded the singles “Pleasure & Pain” and “Stardust.” The record’s release saw the Los Angeles heavy alternative band tour alongside everybody from Five Finger Death Punch to Device and perform at festivals such as Rock on the Range, Welcome to Rockville, and more. After coming off the road in late 2014, Gemini Syndrome underwent member changes, while confronting and exorcising internal and external demons. However, its creative core vocalist Aaron Nordstrom, drummer Brian Steele Medina, and bass player Alessandro “AP” Paveri continue to move forward after the release of their 2016 second full-length, Memento Mori; which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, and spawned the hit single “Remember We Die” – which hit #1 on SiriusXM Octane. The band spent the majority of 2016 and 2017 on the road with bands such as In This Moment, Motionless In White, Avatar, Sevendust, Starset, and Drowning Pool.
