Tonight Alive Release New Song & Music Video “Crack My Heart”

Tonight Alive has released “Crack My Heart” today, the brand new single from upcoming album Underworld. On the track, Singer Jenna McDougall shares “The concept of cracking the heart is to allow the precious, vulnerable self to come through and be free. The painful, yet liberating experience involves the emotional and energetic decalcification of the hardened heart. The lyrics follow my conversation with a ‘winged man’, a conscious figure, who offers space and safety to do my healing with. In my experience, when you are seen as your authentic self by another, you come to recognise your reflection more accurately and lovingly. Crack My Heart is a tribute to the way that love from the divine masculine elevates and holds space for the divine feminine to flourish.”

Musically, the upcoming album gives fans unique melodies and heavy hitting rock sounds. Lyrically, it is the most personal work they have ever put forth. With additional guest vocal performances from Lynn Gunn (PVRIS) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) on the tracks “Disappear” and “My Underworld,” the album is full of moments that pushed the band to explore every aspect of themselves both creatively and emotionally. Due out January 12th, 2018 via Hopeless Records, Underworld is available for pre-order at http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001JOmef27or7tJJG_sCFsdbE2j6184Tu4odVzeD2sxGCBry2ISFouoQjbTx6xZKLfD9Z0BhPQMpDxPRmRiA6nuWZzX7KY4wP5hM7AP-ljzQ5KXBZggzRLUqsRlRA569viaAPIYNOOO_xMC8_C_pydEu08d3lgpXYvxBu9dWivwDSQR-fg1NPSl-w==&c=-G99bGt39c6rOig2GtS8QJu7EOLHDQeqskC82c8PRiAjnKbUYDgKNA==&ch=UTi-k6ig3LS7HKgtgUmwZWqAYKLUmrlEuc1ukuJekoC5AgcnQ7tLcg==.

The lead single from the upcoming release, “Temple,” was shared with fans earlier this fall and saw great streaming success with adds to Spotify’s Rock This, The Scene and Crash Course Playlists in the US, a coveted New Music Friday add in Thailand and spots on iTunes’ Best of the Week and A-List: Rock Playlists in the UK. Born out of a time when McDougall was experiencing severe depression and fatigue, the lyrics for this super-charged and energetic track were penned when she was entrapped in being sick in her mind, body and soul. Be sure to check out the video for the hard-hitting, yet deeply personal track, here:smarturl.it/TempleVideo.

Small Town Titans Cover Christmas Classic “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch”

York, PA heavy rock band Small Town Titans has released their cover of the Classic Christmas song “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch,” giving the already darkly playful track an even more sinister edge. Originally premiered on Loudwire, “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” was filmed live in the studio by Springwood Productions. The band has also released the song on Patreon, a direct to fan social media platform, for their biggest supporters. Subscribing to the group for just a dollar a song on Patreon grants fans new songs first and puts their names in the credits of future YouTube videos.

“We wanted to do something different for the holiday season this year, so we decided to revisit ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,’ a tune we had covered for holiday shows in the past. Other than the Misfits, we really haven’t heard a rock band of any kind cover this song. We rearranged our take on it together and created a dark, bluesy, sinister version, and we are very proud of the result, captured live in the studio.” – Jonny Ross

“One listen to Small Town Titans’ version and you’ll hear that Phil Freeman’s deep baritone and delivery is a perfect fit to capture the spirit of the original. Freeman, who also plays bass for the band, teams with drummer Jonny Ross and guitarist Ben Guiles to put their own fresh take on the track, giving it a bluesy feel with a definite darker vibe. Take a listen as the guys cover it in the studio in the video above.” – Loudwire

The Small Town Titans are a power trio from York, PA who love to constantly create, as well as play live. Gone is the notion that a rock band should only release 10 songs at a time every 2 years. In a world where music fans crave new content constantly, the Small Town Titans aim to deliver their brand of art all of the time, drawing inspiration from a new wave of rock bands such as Highly Suspect and Royal Blood, and rock legends such as the Foo Fighters, Audioslave, and Deep Purple. Thanks to their efforts at assembling their own studio in a basement, STT can create and release songs, podcasts, live online concerts, and more with no rules. This artistic change in attitude stems from touring for the better part of 2 years, and realizing how difficult it really is.

After coming home from their last 30 day run, the band had made $4,000. After repairing their vehicle, restocking their merchandise and more, the band was left with $1,000. After putting most of that back into the band’s funds as usual, each member took home $150. This startling reality made STT take a step back and evaluate themselves as a band, a brand, and a business. After firing their manager, the boys soldiered on with the help of their team at Round 2 Records. They began to truly treat Small Town Titans as a legitimate small business more than ever before. Unnecessary expenses were cut, and more creative and innovative sources of new revenue were explored, such as utilizing the direct to fan creation platform Patreon, where the band is currently making $200 every time they release a new song on YouTube.

Instead of trying to make a million fans, STT is focusing on the fans they already have. With a love for playing live, a Small Town Titans show has evolved into more than a concert. It’s an event, with a set list that’s decided right before the show, and plenty of stage banter in between songs. The band simply hits the stage to deliver an energy driven show using guitars, drums, and their voices. Nothing more, nothing less. This approach to their live performances has led to them sharing the stage with acts such as Highly Suspect, Papa Roach, Black Stone Cherry, Pop Evil, and more.

By focusing on their engagement with social media and managing themselves, Small Town Titans are growing like never before and having more success as a business and a brand. The band just wrapped up a weekend long recording session at Hybrid Studios with friend Kevin Soffera, drummer for Seether on the 5x platinum selling record Disclaimer II, and who STT also recorded their last album Reflection with. Six brand new songs were recorded live in the studio, as well as professionally filmed by Springwood Productions at the same time. These new songs and videos will be released throughout the rest of 2017 and 2018. Songs range from the hard hitting “Me, Myself, and Monster” and “Wreck” to the ballad “Dragonfly”, an emotional song written in memory of Phil’s mother, who passed away earlier this year due to cancer, performed live with just one voice and an acoustic guitar.

Small Town Titans are actively forming a team of like minded individuals in the new music business who are just as driven and passionate as they are, rather than waiting to be discovered. As the band continues to grow their fan base online this year, they will also hit the road, this time with a smarter game plan, a stronger fan base, and a passionate team behind them. Myles Kennedy Releases Video For “Year Of The Tiger” From Upcoming Solo Album

Coming on the heels of the recent announcement of his debut solo album Year Of The Tiger, Myles Kennedy has released the video for the title track. “Year Of The Tiger” premiered on Kennedy’s newly created YouTube channel this morning at: https://youtu.be/f3L9_6aJi2Q. The music video is directed by Dan Sturgess and is based on a concept that was created from a discussion between Kennedy and his manager. The video follows a reflective Kennedy as he travels through the memory of the loss of his father in 1974 – the year of the tiger.

Year Of The Tiger is currently available for pre-order in various bundle configurations at: http://smarturl.it/YearOfTheTiger-NPR and http://www.myleskennedy.com/. Starting today, the album is also available for digital pre-order at: http://smarturl.it/MK-YearOfTheTiger and fans that order the album digitally will receive an instant download of the song “Year Of The Tiger.” The song is also available at all streaming services today including Spotify and Apple Music.

On Year Of The Tiger, Myles embarks on his first venture as a solo artist by embracing musical elements and influences he hasn’t explored until this point in his career. Kennedy himself plays banjo, lap steel, bass, and mandolin in addition to guitar throughout the album. The emotional journey and personal story of Myles is captured in a bluesy-americana album with a twist of country and rock, swirling and flowing around this incredible soulful voice the world has come to know.

The track listing for Year Of The Tiger is:

Year Of The Tiger
The Great Beyond
Blind Faith
Devil On The Wall
Ghost of Shangri La
Turning Stones
Haunted By Design
Mother
Nothing But A Name
Love Can Only Heal
Songbird
One Fine Day

Myles Kennedy burst on the music scene in 1990, but it wasn¹t until 1995, through his band The Mayfield Four, that he gained some notoriety. It was when the Mayfield Four toured opening for hitmakers Creed that Myles Kennedy would meet Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips. This meeting would eventually lead to the formation of Alter Bridge, the band that would become Myles¹ calling card to the world. The band released their debut album One Day Remains that would end up being certified Gold by the RIAA and the band would go on to sell millions of records worldwide over the course of 5 studio albums with the band. In 2008, the legacy of Myles Kennedy was circling the music industry and eventually found its way to members of Led Zeppelin. A now legendary story, Myles was asked to jam with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham for a potential project that never materialized. In 2009, Guns N¹ Roses guitarist Slash was working on a solo project and tapped Myles Kennedy to do vocals on 2 songs on that release. That partnership would lead to Myles becoming the vocalist for his other rock band, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. They have released 2 albums under that moniker. This relationship would also lead to Myles Kennedy singing for the iconic Guns N¹ Roses at their Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction in 2012 after band founder Axl Rose was unable to attend. Through Myles’ various projects, he has appeared on The Tonight Show; Jimmy Kimmel Live; Conan; has had music used by the WWE, Major League Baseball and NASCAR to name a few; and appeared in the motion picture Rock Star. 2018 will mark a new chapter in Myles¹ career as he will be releasing his long-awaited debut solo album Year Of The Tiger. The album is a whole new direction for Myles creatively and showcases the talent that has made him one of the premiere frontmen in modern music today.

Harakiri For The Sky Unveil New Song “You Are The Scars”

Austrian post-black metal band Harakiri For The Sky has unveiled a new song called “You Are The Scars” today at Billboard.com. The 10+ minute, epic metal-gaze masterpiece is the latest offering from the band’s highly-anticipated 4th studio album, Arson, which will debut on February, 16th via AOP Records with distribution from Plastichead Distribution (Europe/North America/World) and Edel (Germany/Austria/Switzerland).

“This song is like a retrospective on broken relationships and the void that stays when people leave. To me it’s not the saying good-bye which is the greatest burden, it’s the never-ending silence, the rejection and the uncertainty. This song tributes the pain that’s left when beloved people disappear completely as if they’d have never crossed way.” – J.J. (vocals)

The lyric video for “You Are The Scars” was directed, filmed and edited by Andreas J. Borsodi with calligraphy and creative consulting by Albert Hupeka.

Arson is currently available for pre-order, and is available as a Deluxe LP on 4 different, limited edition vinyl colorways. Purchase now before they sell out.

But the band also expands their sonic palette with vintage synthesizers and electric drums, successfully transitioning the sound and fury of their past into the modern alternative rock arena.” Complementing this praise, Alternative Press premiered the track “Bang Bang,” calling it a “sure-fire crowd-pleaser” and continued on by saying “it’s the perfect way of reminding fans why they fell in love with the band in the first place.”

Fozzy To Continue Judas Rising Tour Into 2018

FOZZY, the active rock band led by Chris Jericho, will continue to rock their fans across America on their Judas Rising Tour with newly added tour dates in 2018.  Set to launch February 28 in New Orleans, LA, the 25-date trek will take the band (Jericho: vocals, Rich Ward: guitars, vocals, Frank Fontsere: drums, Billy Grey: guitars and Paul DiLeo: bass) from east to west, including stops in Los Angeles on March 10 and New York City on April 5, before bringing them back across the country through the spring. Through FireSanta Cruz and Dark Star Choir will round out the bill for the night of rock headlined by FOZZY. Tickets for these newly announced dates (see below for list) go on sale to the public Friday, December 8.

“I’m stoked to do this extensive tour of the States now that ‘Judas,’ the song, is a Top 5 rock radio hit and Judas, the album, has gone top 40!” says Chris Jericho.  “Fozzy is bigger than we’ve ever been, which means bigger production, bigger songs and bigger lighted jackets! So we can’t wait to rock your literal socks off starting in February!! JUDAS IS RISING!”

“I started playing guitar because of how deeply powerful the experience of going to concerts was for me,” Rich Ward adds.  “With a hit single and a new album pushing Fozzy to new heights, I can’t wait to get back on the road in America to capture the power that only live music can create. Make sure to bring a helmet and your dancing shoes when Fozzy rolls through your town.”

The upcoming dates come on the heels of the October release of the band’s seventh album, JUDAS (Century Media), which Loudwire named as one of the top 25 albums of 2017, saying the band has continued “honing their craft and steadily improving. JUDAS is their most polished and fully realized album, and should be their most successful, as well.”

The album’s title-track and single “Judas” was released in May 2017, becoming a top 5 hit at active rock radio.  The song also spent five weeks at number oneon the highly influential ‘Big Uns Countdown’ on Sirius/XM’s Octane channel and has amassed over 11 million views for its video on YouTube (view here).  Cryptic Rock (10-13-17) says the song is “A passionate and bombastic tune showcasing the band’s irresistible energy and uncanny ability to rock hard, it is as good as it gets.”

In their more than 20-year career, FOZZY has always been about hard work, dedication and delivering great rock n roll to their devoted fans worldwide; reminding them that music is all about invoking dirty, sweaty jubilation and doing it loudly!  However, calling them just “entertainers” would be abridging their talent as Ward is one of the most versatile, underrated riffers in rock n roll and Jericho‘s vocal range and passion for music makes one wonder just how he is able to excel in pretty much everything he does. Throw in the powerhouse rock solid drumming of Fontsere, the blazing leads of Grey and the genius and energy of returning bassist DiLeo and it’s no surprise that FOZZY has skyrocketed into becoming one of the hottest rock acts in years.

Santa Cruz Plot Return To America – Touring With Fozzy in Spring 2018

The “debaucherous and flamboyant” (Rolling Stone) hard rock quartet SANTA CRUZ – whose raucous new album “Bad Blood Rising” recently debuted at #5 in their native Finland – will make their long-awaited return to America in early 2018, when they will take part in Fozzy’s “Judas Rising” U.S. tour. The trek – which also features Through Fire and Dark Sky Choir – kicks off in New Orleans on Feb. 28 and wraps up in Hampton Beach, N.H. on April 8. The complete itinerary for the tour appears below. The group expects to announce additional North American live dates in the near future.

Says vocalist/guitarist Archie Cruz, “We can’t wait to finally be back on U.S. soil! And what better way to do this than with an awesome band like Fozzy! Let’s kick sum ass muthafuckas!”

SANTA CRUZ is a Scandinavian modern hard rock band formed with the mutual aspirations of playing their rear ends off and kicking people’s derrieres. Inspired initially by the likes of Motley Crue and Guns N’ Roses, the young group initially developed a buzz through strong live shows and two well-received albums on Spinefarm Records, where they took their throwback hard rock sound and combined it with elements of modern rock, punk and metal, put it in their own special blender, then iced the mix with blinding energetic performances and a healthy dash of bad attitude. “Bad Blood Rising,” the band’s M-Theory Audio debut, is out now digitally and on CD and limited-edition colored vinyl. A music video for the album’s anthemic opening track, “Young Blood Rising,” can be seen here.

SANTA CRUZ – who  previously toured America alongside the likes of Amaranthe, I Prevail and Sebastian Bach, in addition to playing the Rock On The Range festival in 2015 – is currently in the midst of an extensive European tour, the 12-date UK leg of which kicks off tomorrow (5) in Nottingham.
