The Flux Machine Release Music Video For “Hurricane”

The Flux Machine Release Music Video for “Hurricane”

Punk-infused alt-rock band The Flux Machine from NY has debuted their new music video “Hurricane” on PureGrainAudio.com. Directed by John Jinks, the video is for the title track of the band’s 2017 sophomore full-length. The song swaggers around like the cool guy at the party who later gets drunk and talks about how what we really need is a good revolution.

The song puts into music the concept of one or a series of events that take over our life, like a Hurricane does, but we withstand this with our own fury,” says vocalist Luis Accorsi.

Formed in 2015 by veteran rocker Accorsi, The Flux Machine has released two full-length albums and a cover of Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell” that received high praise from PopWrapped and Spill Magazine.

Hurricane is available now on iTunes.

Exile on Main Street revisited.

When you first hear New York City’s The Flux Machine, it’s hard to not be overwhelmed by the rockers. The band’s in-your-face blend of blues and alt rock teeters the edge before reeling you back in to its frentic sound.
– PureVolume

This New York band is clearly influenced by the city’s hallowed history. There’s a little Johnny Thunders blues-punk riffage, a little Television melody, and just a pinch of Dictators style bombast.

Failure Set March 30 Release Date for In The Future EP; First of Three Planned Digital Eps

FAILURE SET MARCH 30 RELEASE DATE FOR IN THE FUTURE EP

FIRST OF THREE PLANNED DIGITAL EPS CULMINATING

IN FULL-LENGTH, PHYSICAL ALBUM LATER THIS YEAR

Failure release In The Future on March 30, marking the Los Angeles trio’s first new music since the 2015 album, The Heart Is A Monster.

The self-released, four-song EP is the first of four new releases planned for the next year: three EPs culminating in the release of a full-length album this fall. The full-length release will be available both digitally and physically.

“Living inside a screen seems like absolute freedom sometimes, but It’s more like a kind of psychic decapitation,” explains Greg Edwards. “We have made aliens of our bodies. We exist in an era where the most primitive structures in our brains are being rewarded and controlled, almost constantly, by extremely sophisticated, interconnected, and self-perpetuating technologies. There seems to be no imaginable way, or real desire, to moderate this. Artificial Intelligence may be creating itself right beneath our noses and using our bodies as unaware hosts. Everything is talking to everything else but there’s no communication anymore. Only divisions and their promotion. The surrogate reality of the internet sucks us out of our own bodies and puts us in a space where we can imagine we have less and less resemblance to the creatures we actually are. The forthcoming three eps and full-length album, explore the ambivalence inspired by this dislocation.”

Pre-orders for the full series of releases are available at failurebandmerch.com. Special offerings and pre-sale bundles are available via pledgemusic.com/projects/failure-lp5.

In the Future tracklist:

  1. Dark Speed
  2. Paralytic Flow
  3. Pennies
  4. Segue 10

The EP was produced by Failure and mixed by Ken Andrews.

The band’s fourth album, The Heart Is A Monster, arrived in June 2015. The 18-track collection was hailed by fans and critics alike for “brilliantly picking up from where Fantastic Planet left off” (Rolling Stone) and serving as “a stark reminder of why the band have been so influential but it also underscores their status as modern trailblazers” (Alternative Press). Pitchfork dubbed it “a thrilling ride” while Entertainment Weekly described the album as “a jaw-dropping slab of throbbing, fuzzy, visceral space rock.”

Parkway Drive Announce New Album Reverence; Premier Video For “The Void”

PARKWAY DRIVE ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM REVERENCE

VIDEO FOR “THE VOID” PREMIERES TODAY

Epitaph Records is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Reverence, the sixth studio album from Australian metal band Parkway Drive. Due out May 4, Reverence is the most sonically adventurous and emotionally intense effort yet from the Byron Bay-based five-piece.

Reverence represents the most honest and personal record we have ever created,” says Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall. “It has been born though pain, sacrifice, and conviction, with the ultimate goal of expanding not only what Parkway Drive stand for musically, but who we are as people. Thank you for listening.”

Today marks the premiere of “The Void,” one of the many heart-shredding anthems featured on Reverence. Directed by Allan Hardy, the video fully channels the furious energy of “The Void,” a track built on thrashing rhythms, ferocious vocal work, and deeply infectious melodies.

Produced by longtime Parkway Drive sound engineer George Hadjichristou, Reverence arrives as the follow-up to 2015’s IRE—Parkway Drive’s most hugely successful album to date and a major force in boosting their ever-growing worldwide following. In addition to broadening the band’s sonic palette, Reverence offers up some of Parkway Drive’s most devastating songs yet.

TRACKLIST FOR REVERENCE:

  1. Wishing Wells
  2. Prey
  3. Absolute Power
  4. Cemetery Bloom
  5. The Void
  6. I Hope You Rot
  7. Shadow Boxing
  8. In Blood
  9. Chronos
  10. The Colour Of Leaving

Along with McCall, Parkway Drive features guitarists Luke Kilpatrick and Jeff Ling, bassist Jia O’Connor, and drummer Ben Gordon. Formed in Byron Bay in 2002, the band has released five studio albums, all on Epitaph: Killing with a Smile (2005), Horizons (2007), Deep Blue (2010), Atlas (2012), and IRE(2015). With all five albums certified gold in Australia, Parkway Drive have also released two platinum-selling DVDs (2012’s Home is for the Heartless and 2009’s Parkway Drive: The DVD).

Echo Black Release Official Music Video for “Dawn”; Announce US Tour Dates

New York based Dance Rock Band Echo Black has released the official music video for their single, “Dawn.” Directed by Chris Newhard, “Dawn” showcases the band’s vibrant, debut album of the same name.

“DAWN is very near and dear to our hearts for several reasons. The first and most obvious: it is our first album effort and we are extremely proud of the product we have created together. Secondly, this album was completely funded by our fans via Indiegogo; a fact that continues to humble us everyday. DAWN is introspective. It is theatrical, it is angry, it is mournful, it is joyous, and it is rebellious. We do our best to take into account all of our musical tastes when we write; DAWN is our coming of age story and is, justifiably, chock full of emotions, varied genres, and passion. We hope you love it as much as we do!” – Echo Black
