* w/BLACK STONE CHERRY

A hard-driving Southern rock unit based out of Palestine, Texas, Blacktop Mojo’s fiery blend of post-grunge, classic rock, and metal falls somewhere between SoundgardenBlack Stone Cherry, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Founded in 2012 by front-man Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis, the band eventually morphed into a five-piece with the additions of bass player Matt Curtis and guitarists Ryan Kiefer and Kenneth Irwin. They released their debut album, I Am, in 2014, followed by a heavy bout of touring that saw the group sharing the stage with a wide array of heavy hitters, including Bon JoviSammy HagarCandleboxDarryl “DMC” McDanielsShaman’s HarvestPop EvilPuddle of Mudd, and Drowning Pool.

In 2017, the band teamed up with Muscle Shoals producer Jimmy Johnsonfor their highly anticipated sophomore outing Burn the Ships. The album was released via the band’s label, Cuhmon Records, in March of that year to critical acclaim, and it’s first single, “Where The Wind Blows” reached #27 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, while the band was on its first U.S. tour that fall. Through that tour, they landed a slot on 2018’s Rock Fest, featuring headliners DisturbedIncubus, and Godsmack, among many other industry leading hard rock acts.

At the beginning of 2018, the band has started work on its third full length release, as well as touring to support the second radio single from, Burn The Ships.

On April 5th, Papa Roach head out on the final North American headlining leg of their Crooked Teeth World Tour. Today, the band releases a surprise music video for “None of The Above”, the eighth music video released from their latest album Crooked Teeth. The video, which was shot on location at Beaufort Castle in Luxembourg while the band was on tour in Europe, features theDanceXperience ballet troupe. It was directed by Bryson Roatch and choreographed by esteemed urban dance choreographer Alex Lopes.

“We actually wrote ‘None of The Above’ near the end of recording Crooked Teeth,” says bassist Tobin Esperance, “We were going for a classic rock-sounding anthem, juxtaposed with current, contemporary, sounds and taking a rock anthem to a younger generation. Bryson had this great idea of going to a castle while we were on our European tour and then he made us even more excited by telling us that he could get this song choreographed and he delivered on all counts.”

“We wanted to create something you would not normally see from a rock band,” says director Bryson Roatch, “It was amazing and such an honor to work with other artists from a different culture and see their passion.”

Papa Roach set out to push the boundaries of their genre with their ninth studio album,Crooked Teeth. Released in May 2017, the album debuted in the Top 20 on the Top 200 Albums Chart as well as at #1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, cumulating over 200 million streams worldwide. Crooked Teeth earned Papa Roach two #1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart with the lead single “Help” reigning atop the chart for six straight weeks as well as “Born For Greatness”, which has been prominently featured on top Spotify playlists such as “Rock This” and “Beast Mode” and can be heard weekly as the theme song for WWE’s Monday Night Raw.

Over the last sixteen months, Papa Roach have taken the Crooked Teeth experience global – touring extensively throughout Europe, Australia, North America and South America. The band just wrapped up a successful run with A Day to Remember on the 15 Years in the Making Tour where they played to 100,000 fans over the course of eighteen shows. Papa Roach is ready to bring even more of their headlining might to intimate venues in North America featuring support from Nothing More and Escape the Fate. Summer is right around the corner, and with it comes the debut of Camp Punk In Drublic! Created from the mind and liver of NOFX’s frontman Fat Mike, this one-of-a-kind destination event has punk music lovers and craft beer enthusiasts rejoicing. As the only punk rock campout in the country, Camp Punk In Drublic will feature performances by NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and more, along with a weekend of craft beer tastings (available for purchase),campfire stories from punk legends, and a slew of attractions includingFatty’s Midnite Matinee late night movie theater, carnival games, and much more. Located right outside of Columbus, OH, Camp Punk In Drublic will take over Legend Valley in Thornville, OH on Friday, June 1 (Friday Kickoff Party), Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3, wrapping up the first leg of the national Punk In Drublic festival tour with a once-in-a-lifetime experience for punk rock and craft beer fans.

A limited quantity of Early Bird tickets for Camp Punk In Drublic Camping, Craft Beer & Music Festival go on sale Friday, March 30 at 10:00 AM ET atwww.PunkInDrublicFest.com/camp. Specially priced Weekend Festival Admission passes will be available for only $50 (plus fees) while supplies last on Friday, March 30 from 10:00 AM ET through 11:59 PM ET. Additionally, the Friday Night Kickoff Party is FREE for up to 4 campers with each tent or RV camping purchase, or non-camping attendees can purchase an Early BirdFriday Kickoff Party Pass in advance for $19 (plus fees) or for $40 at the door.

NOFX’s Fat Mike explains, “The thing about camping is that really nothing can go wrong, because everything is already wrong. Punk rockers don’t really know how to camp. They know how to wear hoodies, drink, and lean on each other. The good thing is that we got a lot of generators and an unlimited supply of kegs (some are even full of beer). Hey Coachella and Bonnaroo and Burning Man…Watch what happens at CAMP Punk In Drublic. I can almost guarantee that our festival is gonna be way lamer and stupider than yours…That’s the point!…Well, I think that’s the point. Wait, punk rock doesn’t have a point?

Let me be clear: A rabbi, a priest and a few thousand punk rockers go camping in Ohio…Sorry, no punchline. But there will be 17 great bands, 2 mediocre bands, and 5,000 kegs of beer. What could possibly go wrong?”

Rancid’s Tim Armstrong says, “Fat Mike gathered up some of my favorite bands and people to hang out in the middle of Ohio. Rancid can’t wait to be a part of the first Camp Punk In Drublic. We’re looking forward to telling stories around the campfire with you guys!”

Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge adds, “Wait, I get to run amok with a bunch of drunk punk rockers into the wee hours of the night? Have you ever seen a 300 lb man do a belly flop on a pup tent? Well you will…game on! People who are insane enough to stay through the night better get their troops together…me and Fatty are coming for you!!”

The current daily band lineup for Camp Punk In Drublic is as follows:

Friday, June 1 (Kickoff Party): Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, and Guttermouth, followed byCampfire Stories with Fat Mike and NOFX.

Saturday, June 2: NOFX, Pennywise, Goldfinger, Strung Out, Mad Caddies, Face To Face and Bad Cop / Bad Cop, followed by Campfire Stories withKeith MorrisJello Biafra and friends.

Sunday, June 3: Rancid, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sick Of It All, Lagwagon, The Bouncing Souls, Street Dogs, The Interrupters

Don’t expect things to die down once the music is done; this party goes well into the night! The venue will be open from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Friday, June 1, 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, and 12:00 PM to Midnighton Sunday, June 3, and will be jam packed with all types of activities. Campers, get ready to check out the But Wait, There’s More festival attractions and march your lazy asses across the festival to Way The F*ck Over There for even more debauchery.

Way The F*ck Over There is home to:

  • “The Brews”:What most of you are here for… A massive craft beer sampling area offering tastings from local and national breweries with more than 200 craft beers to choose from (must have Tasting Pass and be at least 21).
  • Campfire Stories from the Road:featuring some of the most horrific and hilarious tales from the likes of NOFXJello BiafraKeith Morris, and a sh*t ton more. Campfire venue opens at 11:45 PM to after 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday nights. The crowd will get to ask Fat Mike why he prefers dresses over jeans and such. Think a punk rock version of Inside The Actors Studio around a campfire in the beautiful hills of Ohio ‘til the wee hours of the morning.
  • Flea’s Market: Full of stuff you probably don’t need but know you will want.
  • THE UnFAIR is where the freaks are unleashed. Come play games of chance to win a teddy bear that will probably end up in a box in your garage, or watch a guy pierce his eyeball. THE UnFAIRboasts our spin on our summer camp favorites like Dunk the Punk tank, Postcards From The Edge where you can send postcards back home, and big ass lawn games.
  • The Dodgeball Arena that will host Fans Against the Bands dodgeball gamesand tug o’ war…don’t forget your sweatbands for these epic battles, as well as other games (including a massive tug o’ war against your friends if you have any).
  • PlusEat at Joe’s, a late night food hall with artery clogging gut bombs, where the only thing organic and gluten free is the sh*tty paper plate you eat it on.
  • Craft Beer Summer School: Enjoy craft beer seminars and talks from top brewers and industry experts at the BEER EDU stage.

At the top of the festival grounds is:

  • Fatty’s Midnite Matinee: Which lights up after hours, and is where you can go to chill the F out. Pull up a thrift shop sofa or a blanket and watch punk rock movie favorites until the wee hours on a giant movie screen. Our cheap asses even added surround sound.

Attendees 21+ with festival tickets can purchase a Saturday or Sunday craft beer Tasting Pass in advance for only $17.50 (plus fees). The Tasting Pass will allow entry into The Brews, where during the tasting, attendees can enjoy 15 3 oz. craft beer tastes, choosing from over 200 craft beers from dozens of top breweries. Some of the participating breweries include Stone Brewing,BrewDog, Lord Hobo Brewing, Great Lakes Brewing, MadTree Brewing, Avery Brewing, plus many more local and national breweries.

Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Announce Third Studio Album Out Fall 2018

SLASH FT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS will return this fall with their as-yet-untitled third studio album. The group-SLASH (Guitar), MYLES KENNEDY (Vocals), BRENT FITZ (Drums), TODD KERNS (Bass & Vocals) and FRANK SIDORIS (Guitar & Vocals)–has entered the studio with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (Alter Bridge, Iggy Pop, Incubus). Expect the group to announce a full North American tour for the fall.

This same team worked on the group’s last album World On Fire, tagged by Guitar World as “another bold and unapologetically riffy statement” and “a varied, immersive and incredibly hard rocking effort” (December 2014). Rolling Stone described Apocalyptic Love–the band’s debut album and SLASH’s second solo release overall–as “filled with head bangers and plenty of fancy fretwork” and Revolver declared it “a collection of lean, high-octane rock-and-roll tunes built to be blasted out of open-top sports cars, or more suitably, open-air stadiums” (May 2012).

“I’m excited about the new stuff we put together for this next record; it’s got some cool songs and it’s got a great live feel.” explains SLASH. “I’ve been working with Myles, Brent and Todd for about 8 years now. It’s been an amazing ride so far; as a band we continue to get better which is great. With the addition of Frank since the ‘World On Fire’ tour, I feel we have hit a great, creative stride which I definitely think shows on this next record.” SLASH adds, “Guns N’ Roses will be headlining European festivals this summer, it’s going to be a 110% performance and a huge blast. I love doing European fests and this is the first time we’ve done any proper festivals over there on the ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’. It’s indescribable to explain these shows. I’m looking over and seeing Axl, Duff and Dizzy whom I’ve known forever, but it also feels like an entirely new experience with Richard, Frank and Melissa. It’s like being in a new band, except there’s a chemistry that is established from days of old, so it’s a natural thing that’s always been there.”

Formed in the mid-’90s, two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning EVANESCENCE was integral in establishing a global, critical mass in rock. Their 2003 landmark debut album Fallen laid the foundation; spending 43 weeks on the Billboard Top 10, the album sold more than 17 million copies worldwide and was certified 7x platinum in the U.S. Global hit “Bring Me to Life” reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as marking their first U.K. #1. The equally popular “My Immortal” peaked at #7 in the U.S. and U.K., and both songs were featured in the soundtrack for the action movie Daredevil. The album produced four singles total including “Going Under” (#5 U.S. Modern Rock, #8 U.K.) and “Everybody’s Fool” (#36 U.S. Modern Rock, #23 U.K.). Fallen is one of only eight albums in the history of the chart to spend at least a year on the Billboard Top 50; it spent 104 weeks on the Billboard 200 and is #32 on the “Greatest of All Time, Billboard 200.” EVANESCENCE has won two GRAMMY® Awards including “Best New Artist” and “Best Hard Rock Performance,” out of a total of seven career nominations.

Following multiple worldwide tours, EVANESCENCE released their first live album, Anywhere but Home, which sold more than one million copies worldwide. Next, the band released their second studio album, The Open Door, which went on to sell more than five million copies. Their self-titled third album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart as well as achieving the #1 slot on the following Billboard charts: Rock Albums, Digital Albums, Alternative Albums and Hard Rock Albums.

In 2017, EVANESCENCE and Craft Recordings released a catalog retrospective box set, The Ultimate Collection, which featured their albums to date on vinyl. In addition to FallenThe Open Door and Evanescence, the 6-LP set also offered Origin (a previously unreleased collection of demos), and the first release of Lost Whispers(previously only available as part of this boxed collection).

After touring European festivals and shows in 2016 and early 2017, EVANESCENCE–lead singer-songwriter and pianist Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Troy McLawhorn and guitarist Jen Majura–released their fourth album and most ambitious release to date, titled Synthesis. The album featured two new EVANESCENCE songs in addition to fan favorites re-imagined with orchestra and electronica.

Following their acclaimed Synthesis Live tour in North America last fall, EVANESCENCE has announced a 2018 summer amphitheater tour across North America, co-headlining with LINDSEY STERLING. The tour will kick off July 6 in Kansas City, MO at the Starlight Theatre and will make stops in 31 North American cities. The trek will wrap September 8 in Ridgefield, WA at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now at LiveNation.com. EVANESCENCE will offer a limited number of VIP packages for purchase that include premium seating, attending sound check and a champagne toast with EVANESCENCE. Visit Evanescence.comfor full details.

Both artists’ shows will be accompanied by a full orchestra, highlighting both acts musicality and their incredible performance abilities that continue to blow fans away. The orchestrated performances will also perfectly accent the astounding amphitheater venues across the U.S. and Canada that the two will be performing in, making for a magical summer evening.

Sevendust formed in 1994 and have forged one of hard rock’s most diehard audiences. 2014’s acoustic offering Time Traveler’s & Bonfires saw an overwhelming response from that community, being quickly funded through a highly successful PledgeMusic campaign. Just a year prior, Black Out The Sunentered Billboard’s Top Hard Music Albums chart at #1 and landed at #18 on the Top 200. They kicked off their illustrious career with an untouchable string of three gold albums, beginning with their self-titled 1997 debut and continuing with Home in 1999 and Animosity in 2001. Along the way, they’ve sold out shows everywhere and given unforgettable performances at the likes of Rock On The RangeWoodstockOZZfest, and Shiprocked!.
