Coming out to an NBA entrance announcing each band member like they were about to enter the All-Star game, Senses Fail performed on the Mutant White Lightning stage to a heavy crowd on the side of Hollywood Casino Amphitheater.
The band’s latest album If There Is Light, It Will Find You was released back in February of this year. You can find more info on the album and their upcoming stops on Warped Tour by checking out their Facebook page here: Senses Fail on Facebook.

These guys have come a long way from the local Ocala scene. Wage War have had quite a time since last year’s Self-Help Festival stops and releasing their latest album Deadweight. While it’s still the start of the actual Warped Tour summer, Briton Bond was excited to be there and honored to be a part of the last Warped Tour ever (as he said earlier in the day). Here’s hoping more good things are coming for them.
Wage War will be performing on Warped Tour through the rest of the summer. You can find out more info and keep up to date with the band on their Facebook page here: Wage War on Facebook

These Texan’s brought the heat with them to St. Louis. The show still went on though and it didn’t slow down Crown The Empire any. The band is performing on Warped Tour through August and then heading out for a European tour this September with Volumes and Coldrain. Smoke sticks and smoke bombs are my new favorite stage effect when shooting live bands. I don’t know who thought of it for The Used but they get an A+ for simple creativity. This was my second time seeing the band in three months (the first being at Welcome To Rockville) and I have to say that this performance was of a much higher caliber. The band was more animated and you could tell they were loving the environment.
The Used performed on Journey’s Left Foot Stage which was also the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater main stage. Click on any photo below to open the gallery and scroll below the photos to watch the music video for “The Nexus”.
Warped Tour 2018 in St. Louis, MO. Filmed with a GoProHero6.
The Warped Tour is a traveling rocktour that has toured the United States (including 3 or 4 stops in Canada) annually each summer since 1995. It is the largest traveling music festival in the United States, and is the longest-running touring music festival in North America. The first Warped Tour took place in 1995, and the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the main sponsor of the tour starting with the second tour in 1996, when it became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Although Vans has continued to be the main sponsor and lend its name to the festival, other sponsors have also participated, with stages or other aspects of the festival sometimes being named after them.
Warped Tour was conceived in 1995 as an electric alternative rock festival, but in 1996 began focusing on punk rock music. Although it has continued to be known primarily as a punk rock festival, it has included acts of diverse genres over the years.
Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman has stated that the 2018 Vans Warped Tour would be the final, full cross-country run. Lyman did hint at a large celebration in 2019, the 25th year of the tour.
Backstage when talking with Trevor Phillips of Unearth in the morning of Warped Tour, he said he tries to see Every Time I Die every chance he gets on this final run of Warped Tour. Later in the day when talking to Briton Bond of Wage War, he said that Every Time I Die was his favorite band on the entire lineup this year. This was my first time ever seeing Every Time I Die perform live, and I now understand why both of those men feel that way.
The Buffalo men closed out the Mutant White Lightning Stage and reinvigorated a lot of fans who were exhausted from the heat. To the many people who stayed until ETID played that night, they were rewarded with a fun set. This is the type of heavy band that I wish more people would give a chance because Every Time I Die is a band that can carry that banner while performing at a high level.
If you are planning on attending the final Warped Tour run this year, make sure to add Every Time I Die to your daily schedule. You can check out the tour dates and more info on Every Time I Die’s Facebook page here: Every Time I Die on Facebook

Earlier this year it was announced that Boston’s UNEARTH had signed with CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS and were working on a new album. The band has completed work on the album entitled “Extinction(s)” which is set for a fall release. More details will be revealed the coming weeks.
Today UNEARTH drop the album’s first single ‘Incinerate’. Listen to the song HERE. It is also available for download and streaming HERE.
Vocalist Trevor Phipps describes the new song:
“‘Incinerate’ brings the raw aggression and heaviness of our early material while also showcasing elements of where we’ve gone as a band since.
Lyrically it is meant to be a song of unity in a time of great polarization around the world. We are constantly being told to not like our neighbor because they might have different views. The theme is a faith in humanity to come together and combat and rid the world of those that are intentionally dividing us.”
For their seventh release and CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS debut, the band worked with Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Body Count, Gojira, Thy Art Is Murder, Silent Planet) at Graphic Nature Studios on the release. Additionally, Killswitch Engage’s Adam D. recorded drums for the effort.
UNEARTH are currently taking part in the final installment of the annual Vans Warped Tour on the Mutant White Lightning stage. For tickets & further information, please visit http://vanswarpedtour.com/. Dates are listed below. Additional tour plans for the fall and winter will be announced in the coming weeks. After an awe-inspiring 20 years of blazing trails and dominating stages, UNEARTH is now institutionalized as a relentless force in heavy metal, standing the test of time with consistently triumphant creative output, tireless road warrior resilience, Blue Collar style workmanship and a resolute determination to deliver the goods.
With over 500,000 in worldwide album sales, UNEARTH‘s continued staying power has also hinged on their highly interactive and toweringly heavy live performances.

The “Hear Come The Runts” Tour stopped at St. Louis with Lovelytheband and IRONTOM. Opening with the title track of AWOLNATION’s latest album, the band performed to a rhythmic strobe/light show that would carry on for the rest of the performance, leading into other big songs like “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)” and “Passion”.
This was the second time I had seen AWOLNATION perform live after their performance in 2016 supporting Prophets of Rage. What I noticed this time from Aaron Bruno and company was their ability to almost casually flow from one song to the next. The songs didn’t feel like a playlist but rather a performance smoothly crossing from one song to the next.
Here Come The Runts is the third full album from the band and is currently promoting the latest single “Miracle Man” which also has an acoustic version posted on YouTube (which you can watch below).
