BLESSTHEFALL DROP “WISHFUL SINKING” VIDEO — WATCH
NEW ALBUM HARD FEELINGS OUT NOW VIA RISE RECORDS
Fresh off their late summer/early fall headline North American tour, Blessthefall have dropped the visually majestic video for “Wishful Sinking.” The video, which is bathed in purple tones, pulsates with the band’s performance energy.
“‘Wishful Sinking’ is a particularly special song because it was the first one we wrote with our producer Tyler Smyth,” said singer Beau Bokan. “For us, the song is a perfect blend of our new direction and old blessthefall. With the music video we wanted to incorporate some amazing visuals and keep the aesthetic of the album. I think we nailed it.”
The band’s latest record Hard Feelings is out now via Rise Records.
OF MICE & MEN WORKING ON NEW MUSIC WITH PRODUCER JOSH WILBUR BAND ANNOUNCES WINTER 2019 TOUR WITH NOTHING MORE
Of Mice & Men released their critically acclaimed album Defy in January 2018 via Rise Records. The band is already hard at work on new material and have entered the studio with producer Josh Wilbur (Trivium, Lamb of God, Gojira).
“We’re super pumped to be in the studio with Josh, as we’re all big fans of his production and mix discography,” said singer and guitarist Aaron Pauley. “When we decided to go heavier with this album, Josh’s was one of the first names to pop up — and I can tell you, we’re a little over halfway done and it’s sounding huge and heavy, heavenly and absolutely demonic — all rolled into one.”
The band will spend Fall 2018 on tour in Europe with Bullet for My Valentine. OM&M will hit the road for a U.S. tour with Nothing More in Winter 2019.
“We’re excited to have also announced that we’re touring the U.S. next year with Nothing More. Come to a show, and bang your head,” Pauley said.

STONE BROKEN + LOUDWIRE PREMIERE “WORTH FIGHTING FOR” VIDEO
Fresh off their first-ever U.S. tour with Fozzy, UK rock upstarts Stone Broken have teamed up with Loudwire to premiere the video for “Worth Fighting For.”
“‘Worth Fighting For’ was written to inspire people to make a change, stand up for something they believe in, or just simply to follow a dream,” the band said. “That’s exactly what we are doing right now — we are traveling the world, playing rock shows, meeting new people, and living every day as it comes. It can be scary and it can be tough at times. But for us, this is worth fighting for!”
Stone Broken’s Spinefarm Records’ debut Ain’t Always Easy is out now.
Electric Messiah is the upcoming eighth studio album by American metal band High on Fire, set for release on October 5, 2018 through Entertainment One Music. It is the band’s third album to be produced by Kurt Ballou, and it serves as a tribute to Lemmy Kilmister of the band Motörhead. On August 6, 2018, Electric Messiah’s title track was released early for streaming.
The tracks see Papa Roach continuing to push their momentum with bonafide rock anthems and fearsome hooks. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix explains, “This song is a statement of engagement – In this day and age, who do you trust? The message of the song is to think for yourself and to trust in yourself, and the imagery of the song matches that. It’s the sea of information, all of if slightly out of focus – and you’re left floating in trying to decide for yourself. Who do you trust?”
“Papa Roach are back with two more anthemic bangers to add to their arsenal”, muses Allison Hagendorf, Spotify’s Global Head of Music, about the tracks.
Papa Roach have been praised by their peers in the rock world for achieving an “unlikely comeback”, with two decades of continued success and a career resurgence with their 2017 release, Crooked Teeth, which debuted in the Top 20 on the US, UK and Australian charts. Loudwire explains, “[Papa Roach] are entering a new era of their career. Whereas a multitude of their former counterparts have either become nostalgia acts or fallen off the grid entirely, Papa Roach are finding ways to reverse their trajectory…The sky is the limit for a band who play their cards right and are willing to kick down a few walls.”
Papa Roach have set out on a mini tour starting today in Richmond, VA, hitting ten cities across North and Latin America, before setting out on a December tour to various military bases in Asia. The band will also be joining Shinedown and Asking Alexandria on the 2019 North American leg of the Attention! Attention! World Tour. Additional international tour dates to be announced soon. “My Demons,” a fan favorite by visionary media collective STARSET and their first message to the farthest reaches of the galaxy, has been certified Gold by the RIAA. Appearing on the band’s debut album Transmissions, the epic single peaked at #2 on rock radio and now has over 68 million streams on Spotify and over 150 million aggregate YouTube views.
It’s the unique vision and goals of founder, frontman, and aural architect Dustin Bates that have truly allowed Starset, who are part-cinematic rock band and part-conceptual storytelling unit, to flourish. Bates is not only an audio alchemist but also a PhD candidate in electrical engineering. He has conducted research for the U.S. Air Force and has also taught at the International Space University in France — he is actively dedicated to promoting science to a wider audience. The band was also the subject of its own Marvel graphic novel The Prox Transmissions.
Thanks to the music and the sci-fi concept, along with the videos, novels, websites, and “can’t miss” live shows, Starset are blurring the line between art and science, offering fans a fully immersive experience that is truly unlike any other.
The band just releasedVessels 2.0 on September 28. The deluxe version of last year’s sophomore effort Vessels includes reimagined, acoustic, and remixed versions of songs, along with an unexpected cover, for a total of nine new tracks.
The band shared the suspenseful new video for “Bringing It Down.” Watch it here.
The dreamy version of “Die for You,” dropped on August 24. Listen here.
The cover of Type O Negative’s “Love You to Death” premiered at Loudwire. Listen here.
ROYAL TUSK RELEASES “AFTERMATH” MUSIC VIDEO EXCLUSIVELY VIA BILLBOARD MAGAZINE
BAND TO SUPPORT POP EVIL IN CANADA THIS FALL
ALL NEW LP, TUSK II, DUE OUT OCTOBER 26, 2018
ROYAL TUSK have released a music video for their current single, “Aftermath” today exclusively via Billboard Magazine. Directed by Evan Dennis, this is the first music video the band has released off their upcoming album due out later this month.
“‘Aftermath‘ was inspired by the idea that our culture (especially youth culture) is being desensitized to violence through an overload of media and information,” says vocalist Daniel Carriere. “While wrestling with ideas of isolation, violence, tragedy, and authoritarianism, ‘Aftermath’ asks what we may see looking back when this ever-volatile present has become a distant memory.”
ROYAL TUSK will soon hit the road with new label-mates POP EVIL throughout Canada this fall. The tour kicks off on November 17 at Lee’s Place in Toronto. Dates will hit both coasts before wrapping up in Saskatoon on December 3.
ROYAL TUSK will release their eOne debut TUSK II on October 26, 2018. All pre-orders are available now. Fans who pre-order the LP on iTunes will get “Aftermath” as an iTunes instant grat track. “Aftermath” is also available on all streaming platforms.
Blue-collar troubadours from the Great White North, ROYAL TUSK are steadfast champions of the majesty of kickass riffs, meaty hooks, a thick bottom end, and loud guitars. The four-piece band born in Edmonton, Albertamount a high-octane assault on the lazy security-blanket, self-aware irony of hipsters and the disingenuous commercial pandering of rock poseurs alike.
This is music with meaning, sometimes even a message, that’s always built around a powerful vibe and uncompromising passion. Royal Tusk is a deeply soulful celebration, brimming with working-class optimism and tempered by renegade realism. On their sophomore-slump-smashing TUSK II, the group summons the effortless energy of an era of rock music when bands weren’t content to merely reverse-engineer hit-making formulas to move units.
Royal Tusk is a band with more in common with Deep Purple and Aerosmith than anything on commercial radio. TUSK II arrives on the heels of their well-received debut, DealBreaker (2016), and their first EP, Mountain (2014).
Trailblazers like Soundgarden, Mudhoney, and Pearl Jam defined success on their own terms, putting artistry and authenticity first. Royal Tusk follows in that fine tradition, reveling in unbridled creativity that is provocative, nuanced, and captivating. The laidback charisma of stoner groove, the polished melodicism of classic and progressive rock, and the energy of punk all collide within Royal Tusk, earning them a steadily building buzz as big as their riffs.
