Five Finger Death Punch, often shortened to Five Finger or Death Punch, also abbreviated as 5FDP or FFDP, is an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Formed in 2005, the band’s name comes from the kung fu movie The Five Fingers of Death. The band originally consisted of vocalist Ivan Moody, guitarist Zoltan Bathory, guitarist Caleb Andrew Bingham, bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer. Bingham was replaced by guitarist Darrell Roberts in 2006, who was then replaced by Jason Hook in 2009. Bassist Matt Snell departed from the band in 2010, and was replaced by Chris Kael in 2011.

Amorphis is a Finnish heavy metal[1] band founded by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari, and Esa Holopainen in 1990. Initially, the band was a death metal act, but on later albums they evolved into playing other genres, including heavy metalprogressive metal, and folk metal. They frequently use the Kalevala, the epic poem of Finland, as a source for their lyrics.

Lovebites (stylized as LOVEBITES) is a Japanese all-female heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by former Destrose members miho and haruna. They derived their name from the song “Love Bites (So Do I)” by Halestorm.

“I believe that the festival market is at a major inflection point,” he continues. “The proliferation of music festivals has been good for competition and caused promoters to aggressively pursue expanded entertainment and enhanced experiences. At festivals like Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life, for example, we have been able, and will continue, to rise to the challenge and push the boundaries in food programs, wine and spirits offerings, art installations and all of the other things that fans have come to expect. This growth is essential for rock festivals to hold their own against our cousins in other genres. We are about to embark on the next generation of rock festivals this spring.”

The announcement of the inaugural Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival replaces long-standing festival Rock on the Range.

“I am so proud of what we accomplished with Rock On The Range, and we couldn’t have done it without our partnership with AEG,” adds Wimmer. “When we started Rock On The Range, there was no other festival in America quite like it but recently it became clear that we had different visions of where to take the festival next. The city of Columbus and our devoted rock fans deserve a one-of-a-kind, world-class festival, and that is exactly whatSonic Temple Art + Music Festival will bring to MAPFRE Stadium. Similarly, DWP will welcome a new festival in North Carolina this spring at a new location in the city of Rockingham that will allow us to go all night in a more European style setting. We will be announcing that festival’s name and exact location soon. We are also looking forward to bringing back Chicago Open Air better than ever and continuing to build on the record setting pace ofWelcome To Rockville.”

Diamante Releases “Bulletproof” Music Video with Celeb Trainer @FITGURLMEL

DIAMANTE IS “BULLETPROOF” IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO
WITH CELEBRITY TRAINER @FITGURLMEL

“Explosive”Alternative Press

“With twelve tracks of modern pop rock with a classic feel, a shit ton of attitude and passion, Diamante is the rock ‘n’ roll heroine to inspire a new generation.” —Powerplay Magazine

“The fire of a young Doro Pesch, the integrity of Joan Jett, and [the] swagger of Lita Ford.”AXS

“Diamante has been making a big noise with her series of feisty singles.” —Team Rock

Diamante has released her latest music video for the song “Bulletproof” from her debut album Coming in Hot. The clip showcases a killer training session with fitness motivator and celebrity trainer Melissa Alcantara — known on social media as @FitGurlMel and at Gold’s Gym in Hollywood.

Diamante comments, “Thanks so much to the awesome @Fitgurlmel for the inspiring workout. This song is a reminder that when something in life gets you down, you’re strong and can be bulletproof! It came about from my experience of being with people who always tried to make me feel like I was less-than and constantly put me down. This song is the empowering moment when I realized my self-worth and everything I am capable of.”

Diamante, 21, brings her own flair to the rock genre with Coming in Hot. As Billboard proclaimed, “Coming in Hot is an excellent showcase for the raw power of her voice, which at times recalls Melissa Etheridge and Sass Jordan blended with the dispassionate élan of Blondie’s Debbie Harry.” Produced by Howard Benson [Chris Cornell, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance, Halestorm], the record is a head-turning debut full of “arresting rock anthems,” which Cryptic Rock noted in its review.

Fans and critics have already been equally besotted by Diamante’s room-filling voice. The “Bulletproof” video shows another side of this strong and fierce, rock ‘n’ roll dynamo.

“Yeah, we can hear you.”

That’s what Winston McCall said to the crowd after the opening song at The Pageant.  It was the first time I had been to a show at The Pageant where the house was filled for the opening bands and stayed through the entire night (on a Tuesday no less).  At times The Pageant is a difficult place to shoot because of how dark the stage is, but Parkway Drive decided to help and brought the most blinding stage and strobe lights I have ever stood in front of.  It was a spectacle to see the silhouettes of the band performing for an hour and the crowd grow wilder as time went on from the opening song.

The Reverence North American Tour, along side August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, and Polaris, is touring around the United States.  Parkway Drive is promoting their latest album Reverence which was released in May of this year.  You can find tour dates and more info here: Parkway Drive’s Facebook Page.

Stone Sour Share “Mercy” Acoustic Video

STONE SOUR SHARE “MERCY” (ACOUSTIC) VIDEO

U.S. TOUR SUPPORTING OZZY OSBOURNE UNDERWAY

Internationally acclaimed rock band Stone Sour has shared an official music video for “Mercy” (Acoustic), which is streaming now on the band’s official YouTube and featured on the band’s recently released HYDROGRAD DELUXE EDITION.  Available now at all DSPs and www.stonesour.com,HYDROGRAD DELUXE EDITION, collects unreleased covers, b-sides, live recordings and alternate versions of songs from Stone Sour’s acclaimed 2017 LP, HYDROGRAD.

The deluxe edition is highlighted by “Burn One Turn One,” a previously unreleased b-side from HYDROGRAD, as well 13 rare or unreleased songs including an acoustic version of the #1 rock song “Song #3,” as well as covers of hits from Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden and Van Halen.

Stone Sour are currently on a massive U.S. tour supporting Ozzy Osbourne as special guests on his “No More Tours 2” headline run.  The cross-country trek is set to run through October 13th where it will wrap-up with a performance at Las Vegas, Nevada’s MGM Grand (see attached itinerary).  For complete details and ticket availability, please visit www.stonesour.com/tour.

HYDROGRAD, the acclaimed 2017 LP from Stone Sour, rocketed onto the charts upon release, debuting at #1 on three Billboard charts: “Top Current Albums,” “Top Rock Albums,” and “Top Hard Rock Albums.”  HYDROGRAD also debuted at #8 on the “Billboard 200,” marking the band’s fifth consecutive Top 10 debut on that chart.  Furthermore, HYDROGRAD debuted at #5 in the U.K. (the band’s highest debut ever in that country), #2 in Australia (highest debut ever), and was Top 5 in Germany, Japan, and Switzerland.  The album features the ruminative single “St. Marie,” “Rose Red Violent Blue (This Song Is Dumb & So Am I),” which broke into the Top 10 at Active Rock Radio, and the smash “Song #3”, which was #1 for five straight weeks on U.S. Active Rock Radio chart.

Stone Sour unleashed their eponymous debut album in 2002 and was immediately confirmed as one of the most significant hard rock outfits of the 21stcentury. The self-titled release earned RIAA gold certification while singles “Get Inside” and “Inhale” each received GRAMMY® Award nominations for “Best Metal Performance.”

COME WHAT(EVER) MAY followed in 2006 and proved an even greater accomplishment with a top 5 debut on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 and a #1 entry onto Billboard’s “Rock Albums” chart. The acclaimed album spawned still another GRAMMY®-nominated single in “30/30-150” on its own way to RIAA gold certification.  COME WHAT(EVER) MAY unleashed a series of rock radio classics, including “Sillyworld,” “Made of Scars,” the #1 hit, “Through Glass,” which spent seven weeks atop Billboard’s “Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks” while also reaching #2 on “Alternative Songs” and the top 40 on the overall “Hot 100.” The song’s companion video was also a favorite, now with over 60 million individual views at YouTube alone.

Stone Sour’s 2012 LPs, the monumental HOUSE OF GOLD & BONES – PART 1 and HOUSE OF GOLD & BONES – PART 2, both made top 10 debuts on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 just six months apart from one another – the band’s third and fourth consecutive top 10 chart entries. The two-part concept album yielded a string of multi-format rock radio hits, including the top 5 favorites “Absolute Zero,” “Do Me A Favor,” and “Tired,” the latter of which ascended to #1 at Mainstream Rock outlets nationwide.

HOUSE OF GOLD & BONES drew widespread critical applause with ArtistDirect hailing “PART 1” as “a milestone for Stone Sour and for modern rock music. It’s on par with Alice In Chains’ ‘DIRT,’ Metallica’s MASTER OF PUPPETS, Queens of the Stone Age’s SONGS FOR THE DEAF, Soundgarden’sSUPERUNKNOWN, and any other game-changing albums you can think of.” HOUSE OF GOLD & BONES – PART 2 earned equally great acclaim, including placement on Revolver’s “Top 20 Albums of 2013” and Loudwire’s “Top 10 Rock + Metal Albums of 2013” ranking. The Guardian, in its four-out-of-five starred rave, praised Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor’s “remarkable transformation into heavy music’s premier polymath and renaissance man” while further hailing the album’s “towering melodies and moments of radio-friendly majesty, the band’s trademark straddling of the divide between metal and commercial rock sounding increasingly adroit.”

2015 saw the arrival of STRAIGHT OUTTA BURBANK, an unprecedented EP in which Stone Sour take on five immortal songs originally performed by such iconic artists as Bad Brains, Iron Maiden, The Rolling Stones, Mötley Crüe, and Slayer. The EP is highlighted by a stunning rendition of The Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter” featuring distinctive guest vocals from Lzzy Hale of Atlantic recording group Halestorm, STRAIGHT OUTTA BURBANK is available now at all DSPs and streaming services.

Stone Sour is: Corey Taylor (vocals), Josh Rand (guitar), Roy Mayorga (drums), Johny Chow (bass), and Christian Martucci (guitar).
