Greek Fire Drops Surprise Album, New Music Video

GREEK FIRE Releases Surprise Album Orientation

Premieres New Video “The Ride” via Loudwire

Follow Up Album, BROKEN, Out February 14th, 2019

 Pre-Orders Available Now On PledgeMusic

Alternative trio Greek Fire have returned amidst a whirlwind of shredding guitars and rocking melodies to shake up your Monday. The band, quiet since 2017’s single “Coming Out Of The Rain,” has released a surprise album titled ORIENTATION. The record features lead single “The Ride,” and Loudwire has an exclusive first look at the brand new music video. Watch now, here: bit.ly/2NkHOm4.

As if one new record wasn’t enough, Greek Fire has also shared that they will be releasing a second album in early 2019. BROKENis due out on February 14, 2019. Fans can purchase ORIENTATION and pre-order BROKEN, as well as receive an: instant grat download of another new song “Just A Little Is Enough,” now on PledgeMusicpledgemusic.com/projects/greek-fire-broken

The band shares: “We are thrilled to share so many songs with our incredible Greek Fire Family and the rest of the world! Orientation is fun, energetic, riffy, soaring, and thrilling. It’s a perfect Greek Fire reintroduction to the world. We’re following it with our part 2 in a series of releases. BROKEN is an emotional segue between LOST and FOUND and explores so many emotions. In the end, it sees the light at the end of the tunnel. After being knocked down, counted out, hurt and lonely, we saw the light and came out of the rain. That’s what this record is about. Finding ourselves in it all.

Since forming in 2008, Greek Fire – Philip “Moon” Sneed (vocals), Mark Joseph Roth (bass), and Johnny Venus (drums) – have built a fervent fan base. A rock band should provoke thought, feeling, and passion. In many ways, it’s a rather big part of the job. Greek Fire definitely takes that aspect of making music very seriously.

Greek Fire self-released their debut full-length album Deus Ex Machina in 2011, followed in 2014 by the hugely successful EPLOST featuring the single “Top Of The World,” which could be heard in numerous commercials, TV shows, and movies including the trailers for Disney’s Mega-Hit BIG HERO 6. The band supported these releases with relentless touring, sharing the stage withImagine Dragons, Good Charlotte, Eve 6, Incubus, and many more, in addition to headlining shows all over the world. They’ve also enjoyed successful runs on the Vans Warped Tour, Rockstar UPROAR Festival, and more, as well as appearances at Rock on the RangePOINTFEST, and Summerfest.

In the end, Greek Fire collectively aim for one thing. “We want people to feel energy whether they’re listening to a record or watching us live,” shares Moon. “It can be sad, nervous, or hyped up, but we want everything to be relatable. Every song means something. We want to communicate that feeling.

Within Temptation Sign to Spinefarm, Announce New Album Resist, Drop New Song “The Reckoning”

WITHIN TEMPTATION SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL MUSIC GERMANY, PARTNERING WITH SPINEFARM RECORDS FOR THE U.S. + UK

NEW ALBUM, RESIST, SET FOR RELEASE ON DECEMBER 14

FIRST SINGLE “THE RECKONING” FEATURING JACOBY SHADDIX OUT NOW — LISTEN!

WITHIN TEMPTATION — the leaders of dark anthems, with a career spanning two decades — have signed a worldwide deal with Universal Music Germany. The band is partnering with Spinefarm Records for North America and the UK.

This joining of forces comes ahead of the new album Resist, scheduled for release on December 14.
Resist marks a departure from the Within Temptation’s past. The record is armed with 10 anthemic tracks, driven by grand melodies and dark hooks. It brings a futuristic take on metal to the table — both instrumentally and thematically.

Resist is a true milestone for us. If it wasn’t for Resist, Within Temptation wouldn’t be here anymore,” the band stated.

“With this record, we’ve taken inspiration from modern music and gave it a face — a very dark one,” said singer Sharon den Adel. “Sometimes, it feels that today’s pop music lacks a rebellious edge. Our main goal was to collect pieces from sounds we did like and roughen it up as much as we could, resulting in a surprisingly new musical world that is heavier, dirtier and more futuristic than we’ve ever created before. Resistis our take on metal in a new way: to give modern music its rebellious edge.”

The new sound of Resist cuts through bombastic first single “The Reckoning,” featuring Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach.

Pre-orders for Resist are live here.

With 6 studio albums under their belt — Enter [1997], Mother Earth [2000], The Silent Force [2004], The Heart of Everything [2007], The Unforgiving [2011], and Hydra [2014] — and more than 3.5 million record sales to their name, Within Temptation – led by the aforementioned den Adel and Robert Westerholt — are a force to be reckoned with; one of the world’s most successful heavy rock groups.

den Adel further said, “We are beyond excited to have signed to the biggest record label! Bundling our strength together with such a renewing and thriving force in the music industry, we are sure that we can make magic happen.”

Within Temptation have previously headlined all the major festivals in Europe — Download, Hellfest, Wacken Open Air, Graspop, and Woodstock Poland, as well as many other events. Within Temptation have received numerous international awards, including a World Music Award, MTV Europe Music Awards, a Metal Hammer Award, and many more.

Within Temptation’s 2014 album Hydra reached the top 10 of the album charts in ten countries. With #16 on the American Billboard chart, it was their most successful US-release to date and subsequently presented live by the band on a sold-out US-tour. The band’s European tour kicks off in October and consists of 35 dates in 18 countries. More dates around the globe will follow in 2019.

Architects Return with Holy Hell (Nov. 9, Epitaph Records); “Hereafter” Video Debuts as Pre-orders Launch

ARCHITECTS RETURN WITH HOLY HELL ON NOV. 9 VIA EPITAPH RECORDS

“HEREAFTER” VIDEO DEBUTS AS ALBUM PRE-ORDERS BECOME AVAILABLE

Architects, the Brighton-based outfit Kerrang! recently awarded the title of “Best British Live Band” to, The Independent dubbed “one of Britain’s finest metal bands” and The Guardian said feature “gloriously crafted anthems of defiance,” return with their eighth album, Holy Hell, on Nov. 9 via Epitaph Records. The band has simultaneously debuted the song and video for “Hereafter” which was directed by Jeb Hardwick.

Holy Hell marks the band’s first release since the untimely passing of Tom Searle, Architect’s founding guitarist, principal songwriter and twin brother to drummer Dan. “In those first months after Tom’s death, I didn’t deal with it at all and I felt so unhappy and anxious,” Dan explains. “I’d ignored it and just tried to cope. But I knew that at some point, I had to learn from it.”

“It’s at times like that you ask yourself, ‘What is left?’” adds vocalist Sam Carter. “As a group of friends, we had to find something.”

“Ultimately, there were two choices,” Dan says. “Feel sorry for yourself, and believe the world to be a horrible place and let it defeat you. Or let it inspire us to live the life that Tom would have wanted us to live. I was very worried about people taking away a despondent message from the album. I felt a level of responsibility to provide a light at the end of the tunnel for people who are going through terrible experiences.”

Finding a way forward, the band spent six months from the Fall of 2017 through the Spring of this year recording what would become the 11-song album, with Dan and guitar player Josh Middleton handling production. “For me, broadly speaking Holy Hell is about pain: the way we process it, cope with it, and live with it,” Dan offers. “There is value in pain. It’s where we learn, it’s where we grow.”

Holy Hell track list:

Death Is Not Defeat

Hereafter

Mortal After All

Holy Hell

Damnation

Royal Beggars

Modern Misery

Dying To Heal

The Seventh Circle

Doomsday

A Wasted Hymn

Album pre-orders, including physical bundles featuring vinyl and various merchandise, as well as digital pre-orders offering instant downloads of “Hereafter” are available via the band’s website (architectsofficial.com).

Blacktop Mojo Announce PledgeMusic Campaign to Fund Upcoming Third Album

BLACKTOP MOJO Announce PledgeMusic Campaign to Fund Upcoming Album

Texas based hard rock band BLACKTOP MOJO has announced PledgeMusic campaign to help fund their upcoming third full length album.

We’ve been writing and cutting demos in preparation for the third record , and we’re really excited about the direction of the new material. We’re also thrilled to have so much support from our family of Fans and friends” – Blacktop Mojo

Check out the Blacktop Mojo PledgeMusic Campaign by clicking here!

Fans can pre-order a selection of items including signed copies of the new album, exclusive t-shirts, fishing with the band, hangouts, and even listing their name in the album jacket.

As independent artists, everything we do is fan-funded. We don’t have a record label loaning us a ton of money to make a record. With that, comes some financial pitfalls, but it also means NOBODY tells us how to make music for you guys and we think that’s pretty cool!

A hard-driving Southern rock unit based out of Palestine, Texas, Blacktop Mojo’s fiery blend of post-grunge, classic rock, and metal falls somewhere between SoundgardenBlack Stone Cherry, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Founded in 2012 by front-man Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis, the band eventually morphed into a five-piece with the additions of bass player Matt Curtis and guitarists Ryan Kiefer and Kenneth Irwin. They released their debut album, I Am, in 2014, followed by a heavy bout of touring that saw the group sharing the stage with a wide array of heavy hitters, including Bon JoviSammy HagarCandleboxDarryl “DMC” McDanielsShaman’s HarvestPop EvilPuddle of Mudd, and Drowning Pool.

In 2017, the band teamed up with Muscle Shoals producer Jimmy Johnsonfor their highly anticipated sophomore outing Burn the Ships. The album was released via the band’s label, Cuhmon Records, in March of that year to critical acclaim, and it’s first single, “Where The Wind Blows” reached #27 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, while the band was on its first U.S. tour that fall. Through that tour, they landed a slot on 2018’s Rock Fest, featuring headliners DisturbedIncubus, and Godsmack, among many other industry leading hard rock acts.

At the beginning of 2018, the band has started work on its third full length release, as well as touring to support the second radio single from, Burn The Ships.

Pop Evil has announced a fresh batch of headline tour dates in Canada today in continued support of their latest self-titled release. Dates will kick off on November 17, 2018, in Toronto at Lee’s Place hitting both coasts before wrapping up in Saskatoon at the Coors Event Centre on December 3, 2018. New label-mates Royal Tusk will support.

“We are very excited to finally be back North of the border in my home country of Canada,”says frontman Leigh Kakaty. Pop Evil is eager to perform for their fans in Canada. The only time the band has been there was at Rock The Park Festival in London, Ontario over the summer.

“It always brings me full circle touring in the country I was born in. Plus, having the opportunity to play music off our new album brings a smile to my face. We can’t wait to play for our diehard Canadian fans!”

They debuted a stunning new music video for their track, “A Crime To Remember” just a few months ago. Directed by Columbia Tatone, who also directed the band’s last two videos, “Waking Lions” and “Colors Bleed,” it was the third music video installment we’d seen from the band’s most recent self-titled LP.

The video beautifully defined the core message of the song, which is clear and present in the song’s triumphant background vocals: “Are we divided / Are we united?” – also a constant theme throughout the new LP. The video was in memory of late producer Kato Khandwala who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this year in Los Angeles. Kato had produced countless rock albums including the most recent Pop Evil LP.

In March of this year POP EVIL’s single “Waking Lions” landed at #1 this on the Mediabase Active Rock airplay chart in the U.S. “Waking Lions” reached #1 after 20 weeks on the chart and is in the position of being one of the most spun songs at Rock Radio in 2018.”Waking Lions” is the band’s fifth #1 single with the previous four being “Footsteps,” (2015) “Torn to Pieces,” (2014) “Deal With the Devil,” (2013) and “Trenches,” (2013).

Pop Evil released their fifth LP, a self-titled album, on February 16, 2018, via Entertainment One (eOne). Produced by Kato Khandwala, POP EVIL captures Kakaty and his bandmates at their most inspiring.

Every song on the album offers a different spin on the concept behind the band’s name and in an era when many rock bands create a few strong singles, and six or seven less memorable songs and call it an album. POP EVIL is all killer, no filler – the best 11 songs culled from 30 demos.

It’s a surging, contemporary sounding release that incorporates metal, alternative, hard rock and even some electronic music. In the wake of the band’s peppy, upbeat 2015 album UP, which debuted #1 on the Independent Artist Billboard Album Chart, it went on to produce their biggest single to date, “Footsteps.” It’s a wake-up call, a musical rebirth that inspired the band to self-title the release, partially since they’d never done so.

Ice Nine Kills Announce Slate Of Events Around “The Silver Scream” Album Release This October

ICE NINE KILLS REVEAL SLATE OF ALBUM RELEASE WEEK EVENTS

NEW ALBUM THE SILVER SCREAM OUT VIA FEARLESS RECORDS ON OCTOBER 5

Ice Nine Kills are preparing for the release of their upcoming album The Silver Scream, out Friday, October 5 via Fearless Records. All of the album’s 13 anthems are based on 13 respective horror classics. The physical pre-order is available here.

The band has shared details on the upcoming release week events and shows.

From a listening party at Michael Myers’ house to the St. Vitus album release performance to a private party at the Scream house, there are plenty of blood-chilling chances to see the band as we creep our way towards the Halloween season.

The album’s accompanying short film is also set to be screened.

Curious about that slashterpiece?

Here’s the deal. When the lead singer of Ice Nine Kills enlists a therapist to deal with disturbing dreams, bodies begin to pile up as reality mimics his slasher-movie-like nightmares. They say it’s hard getting into the movies — try getting out.

“I’m thrilled to get on the road and treat this release more like the rollout of a horror film than an album,” said singer Spencer Charnas. “We’ll be doing in-depth panels with the cast and crew, costume contests, screenings of the complete movie counterpart of the album, and killer red carpet-style events that diehard INK fans won’t want to miss out on.”

Below is the schedule of appearances, which are bound to delight those with hardcore horror movie fetishes.

Additionally, the band will hit the road with Atreyu and Memphis May Fire this fall. Those dates are also below.

ICYMI:
INK previously issued the video for “Thank God It’s Friday.” In the clip, the group (and a bunch of unsuspecting teenagers) visit Crystal Lake and that’s when all the trouble ensues. The video is a modern tribute to the classic Friday the 13th slasher series starring machete-wielding horror hero Jason Voorhees. Watch it here.

Ice Nine Kills — the aforementioned Charnas [vocals], Justin DeBlieck [vocals, guitar, orchestration], and Justin Morrow [guitar, bass]— hit the studio with producer Drew Fulk [Motionless In White, As I Lay Dying] in Los Angeles in early 2018 and recorded The Silver Scream.

Through the art of intricate songwriting and elaborate storytelling, the Boston band has mastered the ability to engage and captivate listeners. Seamlessly weaving aggressive post-hardcore with soaring melodies, the band utilizes multi-textured guitar hooks, a dual vocal attack, complex orchestral arrangements and a pummeling rhythm section, which grabs the listener by the throat and refuses to let go.

The group’s 2015 offering, Every Trick In the Book, paid homage to a classic literary work and became Ice Nine Kills’ biggest to date, bowing at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and in the Top 5 of the Hard Rock Albums and Independent Albums charts. Ice Nine Kills lived on the road, touring with Motionless In White, Every Time I Die, Chelsea Grin, Wage War, and more.
