Demon Hunter Announce Summer 2019 Tour Dates

Demon Hunter Announce Summer 2019
“An Evening With” Tour Dates

Demon Hunter will perform more than 20 songs each night at a series of special shows this summer.

AN EVENING WITH DEMON HUNTER is an epic mixture of fan favorite anthems and deep cuts that have never been performed live. Both electric and acoustic presentations will feature songs that span the band’s 10 studio albums, including their most recent, WAR and PEACE, which were released simultaneously earlier this year.

“We’re building a show that’s unlike anything we’ve done before,” vocalist/co-founder Ryan Clark explained. “We’ll have video installations, created specifically for this tour, during set changes. We are planning the biggest lighting/staging production we’ve ever done, surpassing even the Stronger Than Hell tour we did back in the day.”

As a headlining act, Demon Hunter helped introduce audiences to bands like August Burns Red. They’ve done several headlining tours and toured as direct support to In Flames. In recent years, they appeared at Chicago Open Air (with Ozzy Osbourne, KISS), Heavy Montreal (Marilyn Manson, Gojira), and headlined Uprise Fest and Rock the Desert.

AN EVENING WITH DEMON HUNTER will arrive in 10 cities across North America, with VIP ticket packages available through SoundRink. The tour concludes with a more traditional festival-length set at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, alongside genre titans Guns N’ Roses, Slipknot, Disturbed, and Breaking Benjamin.

Demon Hunter’s ninth and tenth studio albums arrived just two years after Outlive, which debuted at #1 Independent, #2 Rock Music, #2 Hard Music, #8 Current Albums, and #25 on the Billboard 200 charts. “On My Side,” from WAR, is still all over the radio. The music video for “More Than Bones,” from PEACE, is available now on YouTube.

Like Outlive (2017) and Extremist (2014), WAR and PEACE were produced by the band’s own Jeremiah Scott and mixed by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Queensrÿche, Hatebreed). Singer Ryan Clark, a Grammy nominated designer who has worked on album projects for Alice In Chains and Foo Fighters, once again spearheaded the look and feel.

“No opening bands, just an entire night of DH mania,” Clark added. “Whether you’ve seen Demon Hunter in the past or not, you won’t want to miss this.”

General tickets go on sale on Friday, June 14 at 10am local time.

Red Releases New Song & Music Video “The Evening Hate”

Red Launches Red Entertainment
Releases “The Evening Hate”

GRAMMY® nominated, RIAA Certified Gold-selling rock band RED releases “The Evening Hate” June 7 on its newly formed RED ENTERTAINMENT label with distribution for the first time from The Fuel Music (Thousand Foot Krutch, Adelitas Way, Lacey Sturm) into digital and streaming outlets globally.

Along with the single’s release, major rock outlets SiriusXM OctanehardDrive with Lou BrutushardDrive XL and Music Choice are already featuring the track as Loudwire breaks the new label and single news. Loudwire also premieres today “The Evening Hate” video and short film written, directed and produced by RED and starring the band at https://loudwire.com/red-new-song-evening-hate-video/.

“‘The Evening Hate’ dives into the deep-seeded hatred that everyone has felt at some point or another,” says RED bassist Randy Armstrong as the band borrows the song’s title from the nickname coined by World War I frontline trench soldiers in 1915 regarding the relentless enemy bombing. “While we all experience or witness hate throughout life, whether it be physical, mental or emotional, we all have the ability to crawl out and rise above such a tremendous adversary, hell bent on division and destruction. Without hate, the world would never know what true love really is.”

Logging over two million albums sold, two Top 10 Billboard 200 albums, three RIAA Gold certifications, 24 No. 1 songs and 2,500 concerts across 25 countries, the band, comprised of Michael Barnes (vocals), identical twin brothers Anthony (guitars) and Randy Armstrong, and longtime live drummer, now official band member, Dan Johnson, is ready to take over the creative reigns going forward with the formation of RED ENTERTAINMENT and the support of its fans.

“RED’s greatest outside strength has always been their loyal legion of fans affectionately known as the REDNATION,” says Randy. “They are the only ones who’ve shown as much heart, soul and love for this band and we wouldn’t be here without them.”

“We want the next chapter of RED to be the most-true to who we are as a band, and it’s the fans that have always kept us going,” adds Anthony. “Now with total control, fans won’t have to wait for music to come out every two to three years! We can do what we want, when we want and with whomever we want in order to make the best rock music we know how.”

“We are so grateful for your love and support and the best way we know how to say thank you is by bringing you great music for years to come,” continues Barnes. Taking the new single, “The Evening Hate” and a bevy of its No. 1 hits and fan favorites on the road, the band will soon announce a major fall tour.

All the latest RED tour, news and more can be found at www.thebandred.comInstagram,TwitterYouTubeSpotify and Facebook where they have nearly one million likes.

Amon Amarth Launches New Video For “Mjolnir”

Amon Amarth Launches New Video For “Mjolnir”

Amon Amarth released their 11th full-length, Berserker, last month to critical acclaim via Metal Blade Records (North America)/Sony Music (International), and recently concluded their North American trek with Slayer, Lamb of God, and Cannibal Corpse. Today, the band has unleashed the final clip in their trilogy of music videos for the album: “Mjolnir”

“Mjolnir” – along with the previous videos: “Raven’s Flight” and “Crack the Sky” – were directed by Roboshobo, and each one is increasingly epic in its scope, further immersing the viewer in the world of Amon Amarth. Much like the songs on Berserker, the videos present Amon Amarth to its fullest.

The cast features Josh Barnett as “the Berserker” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Barnett) and Erick Rowan as “Thor” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erick_Rowan), Tess Kielhammer as “Demon Boss” (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4178569/), Shanie Rusth as “Shield Maiden” (https://www.herexchange.net/her-story/2018/9/11/shanie-rusth), Erik Arevalo (https://www.instagram.com/theerikhammer/?hl=en), Victor Henry (https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Victor-Henry-52195), Canadian WWE legend Viktor as “Demon Henchman” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor), plus many more.

To stream and purchase Berserker, please visit: amonamarth.lnk.to/berserker

Comprising 12 monstrous heavy metal anthems that bulge with irresistible melodic hooks, bursts of thrilling savagery and moments of spine-tingling dynamic drama, Berserker is the result of the huge surge of creativity and a collective desire to keep moving forward with no compromise.

From the disarming melodrama and explosive riffing of opener “Fafner’s Gold” and the brutish simplicity of the rampaging “Crack The Sky” to the epic fury of “Raven’s Flight” and the grim, gritty storytelling of “Ironside” and “Skoll and Hati”, Berserker is an album full of trademark Amon Amarth bluster and bite but with every aspect of the band’s sound somehow refined, sonically enhanced and made vastly more potent, both in terms of metal oomph and emotional power.

Neatly summing up the spirit behind these exhilarating new songs is the album’s semi-title track, “The Berserker At Stamford Bridge”: a visceral but vivid historical tale, recounting the Vikings last stand against the English army in 1066 and the mind-bending heroics of one axe-wielding warrior.

Showcasing an undeniable and startling upgrade for every aspect of Amon Amarth‘s iconic sound, Berserker was recorded in Los Angeles with renowned studio guru Jay Ruston (Anthrax/Stone Sour) manning the controls. After recording several rounds of professional demos for the new songs (initially with fellow Swedish metal icon Peter Tägtgren and then later with Ruston himself) the band crossed the Atlantic to make final the recordings in LA, eager to take a fresh approach to the album-making process.

“For me, this is Amon Amarth 2.0,” vocalist Johan Hegg declares. “I think what we’ve done here is give ourselves the space to explore other parts of our musicality and who we are as a band. If you’re content with where you’re at, what’s the point of continuing? We always want to come up with new ideas and find new ways of doing things and to create bigger and better shows and really try to improve every aspect of what the band is. We want to try to keep growing and to do this for as long as we have the possibility to do so, because this is the best fucking job in the world.”
