The music video for “The Best,” directed by Amalia Irons, also helps to tell the beginning of the new album’s story and introduce one of the main characters. “I wanted to make a video that felt like some of my favorite childhood adventure movies and create something that has a magical feeling of the autumn season,” says Bruno of the video.

Loudwire say “every song on How It Feels to Be Lost, beginning with the opening track and first single, “Leave It All Behind,” contains as much aggressiveness as it does melody and vulnerability” and both Kerrang! and Upset call the album “a return to form” with Kerrang! enthusing ‘“Sleeping With Sirens have produced some of their finest work to date”.
Nothing More Release Abbey Road Acoustic Version Of “Fade In/Fade Out”
With influences like Alan Watts, rather than the usual elder statesmen of hard rock, Nothing More is truly innovating in the genre. Three-times Grammy Nominated, the band’s critically acclaimed album The Stories We Tell Ourselves, has been dominating on the rock radio charts and on streaming services. With 3 Top 10 songs to its credit thus far, the album shows no sign of slowing down its progress.
The fan favorite single “Fade In/Fade Out” has over 10 million streams on Spotify. The official video for the single has over 600,000 views to date. The reception for the track led the band to the famous Abbey Road Studios to record an acoustic arrangement of the song.
Of the track, vocalist Jonny Hawkins says “When I sing this song I daydream about my childhood… the days before my parents were broken apart by cancer. I think about how my dad taught me to throw a ball. I think about how my mom taught me to tie my shoes. I think about how my dad would always say “hard work pays off” trying to teach me a lesson while I was focused on a video game, too young to care. I remember my mother consoling me when I threw a paint brush to the ground, frustrated by an unintended slip of the hand. I will never forget what she said, “Jonny, it’s not a mistake, there are no such things as mistakes, just creative opportunities.” I think about the first moment I realized that they wouldn’t be here forever. I think about how thankful I am.”
The Abbey Road Studios shot video can be previewed then seen at 11am EST here https://youtu.be/25BOeKLa4dc Of their work at Abbey Road, guitarist Mark Vollelunga says “Earlier this year I approached the guys about doing an acoustic version of “Fade In / Fade Out”. I wanted to really lean into the timeless nature of the song and the historic, legendary Abbey Road studios seemed like the ideal place for a new rendition. We were in the same room that Pink Floyd did Dark Side of the Moon. As soon as we entered the studio we all felt the presence of greatness in that place. And like the Beatles said “Love is old, Love is new. Love is all, Love is you.” The vibe there is strong.”
“Nothing More is always a joy to watch and hear. Every performance is executed with verve and precision,” says Metal Nation of the band, who just wrapped a US tour with beloved Swedish metallers, Ghost. “The raw power and immediate control of the packed house reminded me of witnessing Pantera perform for their first time,” added Music In Minnesota. The band is home for the holidays, readying ever more material for their dedicated fanbase.
Hell has frozen over and Rage Against The Machine has announced performance dates in spring of 2020. The posts on the band’s and band member’s social media accounts posted information and it was later confirmed by labels and PR.
Tour Dates Announced (so far): El Paso, TX, March 26, 2020 Las Cruces, NM, March 28, 2020 Phoenix, AZ, March 30, 2020 Indio, CA April 10, 2020 Indio, CA April 17, 2020
The band last played together in 2011 and has since denied any rumor of a reunion or new music. Here’s hoping that these five performances spark something for the group, because if ever there was a time for politically charged music to help reunite a nation, it’s Rage Against The Machine reuniting as a band that could do it.

Finland’s Cello Rockers Apocalyptica Releases The Spellbinding New Music Video, “Rise” Taken From The Upcoming Album Cell-0, Set For Release January 10, 2020
Finland’s multi-Platinum cello-rock band Apocalyptica announces a spectacular new music video for “Rise” which can be seen HERE. Integrated with the achingly beautiful new song from the band’s upcoming studio album Cell-0, due out January 10, 2020 (Silver Lining Records), “Rise,” an impressionistic painting come to life, enacts the humanity that we all share and the power and gravity of one-on-one interactions.
Said director/writer Lisa Mann who has created several other music videos for Apocalyptica, “The idea was to make a video that was whimsical and captivating, that would transport the viewer into an alternate dimension that mirrors our society and today’s importance of compassion and empathy. Characters in this world fall and rise again, and ultimately come together to help each other rise.” To create the ethereal “other-worldly” look of the “Rise” video, Mann collaborated with cinematographer Jason George who incorporated infrared technology, borrowed from the analog world and now re-emerging in today’s digital sphere. “Apocalyptica’s music is timeless, very emotional and cinematic, and we wanted the ‘Rise’ video to reflect that,” added Mann.
Said Apocalyptica’s Eicca Toppinen, “‘Rise’ is a statement of hope, there is always a brighter side, no matter how dark or hopeless things seem to be. To believe in good and beauty, staying true to yourself and not giving up on that.”
In support of the release of Cell-0, Apocalyptica – cellists Eicca Toppinen, Perttu Kivilaakso, and Paavo Lötjönen, and drummer Mikko Sirén – will Special Guest with Sabaton on a 15-country, 23-date European arenas tour that begins on January 17, 2020 in Zurich, Switzerland. “We will be planning the full Cell-0 tour to be at the next level in terms of how we frame our performance,” added Toppinen, “because we don’t know any other way.” With North American dates being planned now, the band’s confirmed dates are below.
