Huge thanks to Denis Lesjak (Golds House Music) for writing an amazing instrumental bed and Austin Hull for the great job he did mixing and mastering.”

Moon Tooth Announce Spring Tour With Caligula’s Horse

Long Island rock band Moon Tooth have announced their upcoming spring tour dates with Caligula’s Horse. Tickets are available here: http://moontooth.org/

Earlier this year, they announced their singing to Pure Noise Records and shared the music video for “Through Ash“, taken from their 2019 album Crux. Fans can watch the video here: https://moontooth.merchnow.com/Crux was re-released by Pure Noise Records and was recently featured on Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Albums of 2019.

Moon Tooth began its journey at the end of 2012. Founding members Nick Lee and Ray Marte’s previous band had dissolved and they quickly found a musical and philosophical kinship with singer John Carbone and bassist Vincent Romanelli.  The band went straight to work writing and constantly gigging. After a number of singles and EPs, they self-release their first full-length album, Chromaparagon, receiving acclaim from outlets such as Guitar World, Revolver, Premiere Guitar, and more.
Machine (Lamb of God, Every Time I Die, King Crimson, Clutch) and Lamb of God’s Mark Morton worked on the pre-production of Crux.

The album tells the story of the band at this crucial point where the past must die so new life can begin. The album was officially released on March 29th, 2019, and received over 100,000+ streams in its first week. It also hit the Billboard charts, reaching #13 on Heatseekers, #23 on Hard Music, #43 on Indie Label, #62 on Digital Albums, and more.

Moon Tooth is John Carbone (vocals), Nick Lee (guitar/vocals), Ray Marte (drums/vocals), and Vincent Romanelli (bass).

Horror-inspired theatrical metal outfit ICE NINE KILLS continue to spread their captivating brand of terror throughout the ‘horror-day’ season as they gift fans with a free, online +/or mobile multi-level video gameMerry Axe-Mas developed by Mungo Creative Group. Inspired by the 80’s-themed music video for their single “Merry Axe-Mas” (featured on THE SILVER SCREAM [2018] and THE SILVER SCREAM: FINAL CUT [2020]), the game features three gruesome levels based on the storyline of the 1984 controversial slasher film Silent Night, Deadly Night, one of vocalist SPENCER CHARNAS‘ all-time favorite horror films.

Along with the game, ICE NINE KILLS have recorded exclusive messages and specials deals for their dedicated fans to receive as they join Saint Nick through each level– whether it’s jumping from chimney to chimney dropping sacks of decapitated heads in Santa’s Forgiveness (Level 1), attacking sled riders in Santa’s Forest (Level 2) or taking out carolers whack-a-mole style in Silence The Sinners (Level 3).

ICE NINE KILLS spent the majority of 2019 on headlining runs including “THE SILVER SCREAM World Tour” and SIRIUSXM OCTANE PRESENTS‘ “THE OCTANE ACCELERATOR TOUR“–the latter of which moved over 26,400 tickets, with the majority of shows sold-out. The band also hosted special performances curated to the horror community, including an acoustic set at the infamous Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, and opening at Screamfest LA sold-out screenings for various horror films of which their songs draw influence. 2019 saw ICE NINE KILLS make career history as their hit single “A Grave Mistake” landed in the Top 10 Active Radio Rock charts.

The year also saw the October 25 release of THE SILVER SCREAM: FINAL CUT, the deluxe version of their critically acclaimed 2018 album via Fearless Records/Concord,which included acoustic renderings of previous album singles; a new track “Your Number’s Up“; a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller“; and guest appearances from some of the horror and metal genre’s finest including Ari Lehman (the original Jason Voorhees from 1980’s Friday the 13th), Chelsea Tamridge (Stranger Things)Sam Kubrick (grandson of director Stanley Kubrick), Matt Heafy (Trivium) and more.

Ending the year with inclusions in high-profile industry lists–including “A Grave Mistake” placing at #40 on Billboard‘s Top 50 Mainstream Rock Songs and “Savages” landing at #4 on SIRIUSXM OCTANE‘s Big Un‘s list–ICE NINE KILLS will continue to instill horror worldwide as they have announced a European tour from February 16 to March 18, 2020 in support of Papa Roach and Hollywood Undead, followed by a Spring 2020 arena tour across the U.S. with Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach and I Prevail from April 7 to May 20. Top 10 Best Albums Of 2019

The past year had more amazing music than several of the past years put together. It felt like in 2019, many new bands and artists finally stepped up and refused to settle for radio format mediocrity while BIG name bands returned to prove they still had it.

The video above is a top 10 (with some honorable mentions) on what stood out the most. It was not an easy list to make as there were many candidates with quality to choose from this year. I feel optimistic going into the next decade now ready to be proven once again why rock is not dead.

Ozzy Osbourne Unveils Video For “Under The Graveyard”

Ozzy Osbourne Unveils
Vidoe For #1 Rock Radio Track
“Under The Graveyard”

For his new video for the #1 rock track “Under The Graveyard,” OZZY OSBOURNE reteamed with acclaimed film director, screenwriter and music video director Jonas Akerlund (who worked with OSBOURNE on videos for “Let Me Hear You Scream” and “Gets Me Through”). Watch the video here.

“Under The Graveyard”

The semi-autobiographical video was recently filmed in Los Angeles and features actors Jack Kilmer (as OZZY OSBOURNE) and Jessica Barden (as Sharon Osbourne). Set in the late 70s in the early part of OZZY‘s solo career, the clip shows the darkness of life and how a helping hand and love can change everything.

“For ‘Under the Graveyard’ Jonas (Akerlund) developed the story into a ‘mini movie,'” says OZZY OSBOURNE. “But, to be quite honest, it’s hard for me to watch because it takes me back to some of the darkest times in my life. Thankfully Sharon was there to pick me up and believe in me. It was the first time she was there to fully support me and build me back up, but it certainly wasn’t the last.”

“Under The Graveyard” recently captured the #1 position on the Rock Radio Chart and has eclipsed 5.4 million streams worldwide. It marks the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter’s third #1 on this chart and his first in 10 years; “Under The Graveyard” is his first new solo music in as many years. It’s the first track from OZZY‘s forthcoming album, ORDINARY MAN, due out on Epic Records in early 2020.

ORDINARY MAN was recorded in Los Angeles and features producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) on bass and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums.

Lindsey Stirling Brings Christmas Cheer to Newark, NJ | Photos

Photos of Lindsey Stirling’s Warmer In The Winter Tour.
All photos taken by Ana Santos
in Newark, NJ on December 13, 2019.

It feels like it was just yesterday that Lindsey Stirling was on the road promoting the recently released Artemis, but with Christmas around the corner, Stirling returns to bring little (or a lot) of cheer nationwide with the third annual Warmer In The Winter Tour.

Performing for a packed house at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ this past Friday night, Stirling continued to delight audiences with her incredible showmanship. Since its release in 2017, Warmer in the Winter has brought Stirling great success, and it has easily become one of the tours I look most forward to every Holiday season.

Not only a violinist, Stirling is also an incredibly funny and personable dancer backed by a Christmas wonderland production that makes the show both entertaining and just a little extra special. Think Broadway to the often high-energy re-imagining of classic Christmas songs through Stirling’s deft violin and EDM beats.

Both fun and haunting, the two-hour performance will guide you through a spectrum of emotions from belly laughs to skin-tingling chills and in the end, you’ll be just a little bit more ready for Christmas.

Setlist:
01. All I Want for Christmas Is You
02. Christmas C’mon ft. Becky G
03. Let it Snow
04. Warmer in the Winter
05. Jingle Bells Rock
06. I Saw Three Ships / God Rest ‘Ye Merry Gentlemen
07. Jingle Bells / Deck the Halls / It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas / Feliz Navidad / Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer / Devil Went Down to Georgia
08. Hallelujah
09. Angels We Have Heard on High
10. Crystallize
11. Between Twilight
12. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy
13. Santa Baby
14. Luna / break
15. We Three Gentlemen
16. Carol of the Bells
17. You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch
Encore
18. I Wonder as I Wander
