Deftones – Ohms Album Review
Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California in 1988. It was formed by Chino Moreno (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Stephen Carpenter (lead guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums), and Dominic Garcia (bass). During their first five years, the band’s lineup changed several times, but stabilized in 1993 when Cunningham rejoined after his departure in 1990; by this time, Chi Cheng was bassist. The lineup remained stable for fifteen years, with the exception of keyboardist and turntablist Frank Delgado being added in 1999. The band is known as one of the most experimental groups to have come from the alternative metal scene, and are sometimes dubbed by critics as “the Radiohead of metal”.
Multi-platinum rock band SEETHER, in celebration of the band’s 20-year anniversary, today announced the release of three of their classic albums –Disclaimer II, Karma And Effect, and Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces – on vinyl for the very first time on November 13th, 2020 via Craft Recordings. Released early in the band’s remarkable run, these three albums exemplify the distinctive musicianship and song-craft for which SEETHER are best known and helped solidify them as one of the most successful hard rock bands in the world.
SEETHER continue to prove their staying power and add to their expansive catalogue with the release of their 8th studio album, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum (If You Want Peace, Prepare for War) via Fantasy Records last month. Lead single “Dangerous”is currently #3 at Rock Radio, marking the band’s 18th Top 5 single over the course of their impressive career.

Disclaimer II is SEETHER’s second studio album originally released in 2004 and serves as a recompilation of their debut album, Disclaimer. It includes the 12 original tracks (although slightly remixed) as well as eight additional tracks including the smash hit and RIAA-certified Platinum electric ballad “Broken” featuring Amy Lee of Evanescence. The album is now RIAA-certified Platinum as well. This new 2-LP set is available everywhere on Raspberry Red opaque vinyl, and a limited-edition pressing on Pink Splatter opaque vinyl is available in the band’s webstore.
Karma And Effectwas the follow-up toDisclaimer IIand upon its release in 2005 debuted in the Top 10 globally and is now RIAA-certified Gold. Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces is SEETHER’s fourth studio album and was originally released in 2007 and is RIAA-certified Gold. It features the band’s biggest single, “Fake It,” as well as “Rise Above This” and “Remedy,” all of which were Top 10 singles with the former two reaching #1 on several Billboard charts. This 2-LP set features artwork etching on side D and is available everywhere on Lavender opaque vinyl, and a limited-edition pressing on translucent Purple Splatter vinyl is available in the band’s webstore.

Idles (stylised as IDLES) are a British rock band formed in Bristol in 2009. The band consists of Joe Talbot (vocals), Mark Bowen (guitar), Lee Kiernan (guitar), Adam Devonshire (bass) and Jon Beavis (drums).
Ultra Mono is the upcoming third studio album by English band Idles, due to be released on 25 September 2020 by Partisan Records.

Existential Reckoning
In a report to commanding officers, the trio said: “In the Summer of 2016, we received a call from Hildy Berger, Billy D’s loving wife. [REDACTED]. Billy D, rumored to have been carrying nothing but a bottle of wine and a mysterious briefcase, had disappeared without a trace somewhere in the high deserts of the Southwestern United States.
Rumors of alien abduction were at the forefront throughout the dark web chatter. Therefore traditional methods of tracking a lost and hopeless drunkard in a dirty leisure suit were not an option. [REDACTED]. We hypothesized the only way to locate the subject was to [REDACTED] construct traversable bridges between intuition and technology, requiring us to explore the metaphorical mycelium between Math and Passion, Art and Order, and Hope and Proof. Through these methods [REDATED] we are able to pinpoint the exact location of both Billy D and the mysterious briefcase.”
The agents recruited back-up: Greg Edwards (an experienced Agent having worked in operations classified as Failure and Autolux; bass, guitar, keys), Gunnar Olsen (drums) and Sarah Jones (drums). Existential Reckoning was produced by Mat Mitchell and the band. The album was recorded and mixed by Mat Mitchell at Puscifer Studios in North Hollywood, Calif.

Aaron Lewis & Sully Erna The Voices Of Godsmack & Staind Come Together For The First Time In The American Drive-In Tour
For the first time ever, Sully Erna and Aaron Lewis, two of the most acclaimed frontmen in rock–the voices of multiplatinum rock bands Godsmack and Staind–will perform their hits together, side-by-side, in an intimate and unplugged evening on The American Drive-In Tour, kicking off in October. It’s one of the first 2020 drive-in live rock concert tours planned across multiple cities, and promises a once-in-a-lifetime event for fans, featuring a special evening of hits, covers and conversation with Aaron and Sully appearing together on stage.
