Puscifer To Take Viewers Deep Into The Heart Of The Arizona Desert With October 30 Global Livestream: “Existential Reckoning: LIve At Arcosanti”
Tickets & Exclusive Merchandise Available Now Watch The Trailer At PUSCIFERLIVE.COM
Puscifer, who recently announced the release of their fourth full-length album, Existential Reckoning(Oct. 30, Alchemy Recordings/Puscifer Entertainment/BMG), take fans into the high desert of Arizona with a visually-stunning, livestream concert experience dubbed “Existential Reckoning: Live at Arcosanti.”
Puscifer have become known for their kinetic live productions, a merging of music and the theatrical. Over the years, concertgoers have been treated to live Luchadores, a “Hee Haw” themed revue, and a desert-set campfire replete with an Airstream trailer. What does the band have in mind for their first performance of the pandemic era, and the debut of their Existential Reckoning production? Only Billy D. knows for sure, but one thing is for certain, it will be unlike anything Puscifer has done before.
“If you’re not familiar with Arcosanti, I highly recommend that you look it up,” says Maynard James Keenan of the location. “It’s one of a long list of examples of architects, artists, actors, musicians, writers, and poets. People who are not necessarily from Arizona but came here and found that creative tick that burrows under your skin here, something that sets you in a motion to respond to this, what I consider to be equal parts inspirational and hostile, environment. It’s not easy to survive here. There’s already been a dust devil that’s whipped through here, rattlesnakes, crazy red ants outside of my sleeping quarters which tried to consume my dog. We feel like we’re on the edge of the world. Imagine if you were an extra-terrestrial traveler and you landed in the Southwest and wanted to assume an identity here and blend in, this would probably be a good spot to do that.”
The location, Arcosanti, was described by Architectural Digest as a “utopian metropolis in the Arizona desert” that “looks like the sublime set of a big-budget sci-fi movie.” A location that’s both inspirational and bewitching, as Arizona itself often is. The 48th state has played a silent, yet meaningful, partner to the musical troupe, with its vistas and deserts often appearing in the band’s music videos, as concert backdrops and as the subject of numerous lyrics.
Livestream tickets, as well as a selection of limited edition merchandise exclusive to attendees, are available now via pusciferlive.com. The livestream debuts on Oct. 30 at 3:00 pm Pacific/6:00 pm Eastern/10:00 pm UK/11:00 pm EU and remains on-demand for 72 hours.
“We could do a live stream from anywhere – a sound stage, an empty theater. But this location, at Arcosanti, in the heart of the unforgiving yet beautiful Arizona desert, adds another dimension to Puscifer’s music,” says Danny Wimmer, Founder of Danny Wimmer Presents, the largest independent festival producer in the United States and co-producers of “Existential Reckoning: Live at Arcosanti.”
“Maynard is an artist in everything he does, from his music to his wine to his farm-to-table restaurant. The common thread running through all of it is that he doesn’t take any shortcuts – and he’s chosen an environment that doesn’t allow for shortcuts,” he continues. “’Existential Reckoning: Live at Arcosanti” promises not just to be an experience, but to be an insight into that desert world that fuels and inspires Maynard and Puscifer. The only thing better would be to enjoy the show with a glass of Maynard’s Caduceuswine in hand.”
DWP recently entered the digital content curation space, promoting pay-per-view livestreams and creating the popular digital series Offstage with DWP. DWP is known worldwide for their stellar portfolio of music and lifestyle events, which includes Aftershock, Bourbon & Beyond, Epicenter, Hometown Rising, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, and Welcome To Rockville.
Los Angeles-based rock sensation Bad Omens have announced their upcoming release of “FGBGFM Unplugged” out on October 29 via Sumerian Records. Also released today is the new music video for “Never Know Unplugged”. The EP is available for preorder here and the music video can be watched here or by clicking below.
Bad Omens reveal a never-before-seen facet of the band without missing a polished, meticulous beat on “FGBGFM Unplugged“. Speaking on the EP, frontman Noah Sebastian shares:
“When we decided to do this EP, we carefully selected what songs we thought were most important for people to hear at their core. As a band whose songs are typically built around a heavy production and a wall of heavy guitars alongside smashing drums, it was both exciting and refreshing for us to recreate our songs in this way. We hope you find yourself immersed in the stripped down side of Bad Omens on your listen through the FGBGFM stripped down EP.”

Bad Omens have already created quite the stir in the US radio charts with their most recent critically acclaimed single, “Limits“. Currently, “Limits” is ascending the Top 25 Active Rock chart at #24 and is #9 on the Octane Big Uns Countdown. Check out the music video for “Limits” here.
Today, Greta Van Fleet releases its first new song in more than a year, “My Way, Soon” (Lava/Republic Records.) The song is a liberating and jubilant track that celebrates and reflects the band’s personal transformation over the past three years. Also released is the track’s companion music video, which was shot, edited, and directed by the band. Go HERE to check out “My Way, Soon.”
When Greta Van Fleet released “Highway Tune” in March of 2017, a song that they wrote in their parent’s garage before any of them had turned 18, they had no idea the change it would bring to their lives. The song would go on to become an international hit and Top Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Singles chart. “Highway Tune” would be followed by three more consecutive #1 singles, a debut album that entered Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Top Album Sales charts at #1, a Grammy Award for “Best Rock Album,” appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Saturday Night Live,” a Gold-certified debut album, an overflow crowd at their Coachella debut, a personal phone call from Elton John inviting them to perform at his Academy Awards Viewing Party, and most consequentially, 246 sold-out tour dates in 13 countries over five continents.
The four Greta Van Fleet band members – Josh and his twin brother Jake Kiszka (guitars), younger brother Sam (bass, keyboards), and long-time family friend Danny Wagner (drums) – were still under the legal drinking age, and two of them hadn’t yet graduated from high school. However, within a few months, they left their safe and familiar family homes in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and entered a whole new – and entirely unanticipated – whirlwind of a world. A world where they would learn and grow beyond their wildest imagination.
As Danny explains, “The definition of ‘normal’ has very much broadened over the past couple of years, and it has affected us as musicians, especially in the writing and recording of this new album. We realized that while growing up, we had been shielded by a lot of things, we were unaware of a lot of things. And then we were thrown out into this huge world, and it was a bit of a culture shock at first.”
“We’ve seen how people live in different parts of the world,” added Sam, “and we’ve developed intrinsic respect for different cultures and people. We’ve gone from driving down a highway to a show and seeing endless miles of shantytowns in Sao Paulo, to playing some of the richest places on earth.”
Added Jake, “The more we’ve seen – different cultures, people, and traditions – we’ve also seen a similarity between ourselves and these different cultures. It surprises me how similar we all are.”

Born Of Osiris Partners with Revolver Magazine For October 8 Drive-In Concert At Lake Shore Drive-In In Chicago, IL Purchase Tickets Here
Rev your engines! This Thursday, October 8, 2020 Born of Osiris will become the first metal band to play a live drive-in concert in partnership with Revolver Magazine. In addition to attending what could possibly be the only live metal concert of 2020, each attendee will also receive a gift bag including a limited, exclusive poster signed by the members of Born of Osiris. Fans will also be entered into a raffle for prizes such as Born of Osiris guitar picks, drumsticks, free merch, a signed tab book, a signed vinyl, and an original handwritten lyric sheet. Winners will also receive a free subscription to Revolver Magazine. Tickets for the drive-in show can be purchased here.
The event will take place in the band’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois at Lake Shore Drive-In in the parking lot of the Adler Planetarium. The scenic venue is situated in front of Lake Michigan with a clear view of the Chicago skyline in the background.
Tickets are $85 for a 2-person car pass or $160 for cars up to 4 people ($40 per person). If a group has more than 4 people, additional people can be added for $25 each.
Earlier this year, live performances came to an abrupt halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, bands have been coming up with clever alternatives to the traditional concert, mostly in the form of live-streamed performances, and now drive-ins. Earlier this year, Born of Osiris performed an at-home recording of “Analogs In A Cell” from their latest album, “The Simulation”.

Mr. Bungle, the NorCal-born band who release their first new album in 21 years, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo, on Oct. 30 via Ipecac Recordings, have announced a Halloween special: “The Night They Came Home!” a virtual live concert experience.
The special event will feature a performance from the current incarnation of Mr. Bungle: Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, Trey Spruance, Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo. As Rolling Stone said in their Fall music preview: “musical curveballs are encoded in Mr. Bungle’s DNA” so fans can, and should, expect the unexpected.
Tickets are $15 and available now via www.mrbungle.live. The first screening airs at 12 noon pacific/3 pm eastern on Oct. 31 with the on-demand program available for the following 72 hours. An array of exclusive, commemorative merchandise, including a limited (1000 copies) neon green vinyl variant, will be available to attendees.
Mr. Bungle announced the forthcoming release of The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo to great fanfare. The album news followed a spate of early 2020 live performances that sold out immediately and saw the band playing to some of its biggest audiences ever. The album, which is a proper recording of Mr. Bungle’s much traded, yet unreleased, 1986 demo cassette, has been previewed with singles and videos for “Eracist” (https://youtu.be/Cug4UPwcvlo) and “Raping Your Mind” (https://youtu.be/3U5ZKKxqUzY). Decibel declared the collection “one of the best thrash albums of the year,” Stereogum said “…Mr. Bungle are reliving their very earliest days and kicking a whole lot of ass in the process,” and Brooklyn Vegan dubbed the release simply “badass.”

Green Day Discography | Tier List (ft. Beez of Most Talks & Knotfest)
Green Day is an American rock band formed in the East Bay of California in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt. For much of the band’s career, they have been a trio with a drummer Tré Cool, who replaced John Kiffmeyer in 1990 before the recording of the band’s second studio album, Kerplunk (1991). Touring guitarist Jason White became a full-time member in 2012, but returned to his role as a touring member in 2016.
Nearly 30 years into an already impressive career – which includes 8 studio albums, tours with Descendents, blink-182, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Snoop Dogg, Bad Religion, and more, and over 365 shows on the Vans Warped Tour – Less Than Jake has never been a band to rest on its laurels. Today the ska punk veterans have shown the best is yet to come with the release of their first new song in 3 years, “Lie To Me,” and announcement of their new album Silver Linings, out December 11th via Pure Noise Records. Fans can watch the music video for “Lie To Me” and pre-order the album now at https://smarturl.it/LTJ.
“We made a new record! Our first full length with our new drummer, Matt Yonker, and it sounds amazing,” shares vocalist/guitarist Chris Demakes. “More vocal hooks than a tackle box, horns galore and that bombastic and upbeat energy that we’re known for. We didn’t try to reinvent the wheel with this one, it’s still undeniably Less Than Jake. Just a bit punchier and in your face. We can’t wait for our fans to hear it!”
On how it feels to still be writing music together after so many years, vocalist/bassist Roger Lima shares: “It’s still so freaking exciting!! After decades of working on songs together, we still love it, and with our new drummer Matt Yonker, we feel reignited and refueled. Personally, I feel that this is the first step of a new era for the band. While the music feels undeniably Less Than Jake, the flow of the tracks and the attitude of the horns and lyrics have a freshness to them and I look forward to sharing these songs with our amazing fans.”
Less Than Jake has no plans of slowing down any time soon as they prepare for the release of their 9th studio album, Silver Linings, out December 11th via Pure Noise Records. To pre-order, please visit: https://smarturl.it/LTJ.
About Less Than Jake: The story of ska-rockin’ maestros Less Than Jake isn’t told in their sizable discography. It can’t be calculated by the amount of road miles they’ve logged. (But if we’re forced to calculate, we think they might be a block or two short of the Van Allen belts.) Nah! Less Than Jake’s cumulative worth is all about what they bring to your party. From sweaty club shows to uproarious festival dates to opening up for America’s most beloved rock acts, these five lifers’ deeds are best measured in the smiles they’ve slapped on the faces of true believers and new listeners, alike.
Silver Linings is the name of the new Less Than Jake album, their first full-length for the Pure Noise label and the follow-up to 2013’s See The Light. It also doubles as a bunch of sonic diary pages and a mission statement that cements their conviction after two decades in this rock ‘n’ roll circus. Indeed, LTJ-frontman/guitarist Chris DeMakes, bassist/vocalist Roger Lima, trombonist Buddy Schaub, saxophonist Peter “JR” Wasilewski, and new drummer Matt Yonker-have escaped most (but not all) forms of ennui, depression and violence against screen-based objects to create an endorsement of humanity.
Silver Linings also does a good amount of myth-exploding in its pursuit of joy. The songwriting core of DeMakes, Lima and Wasilewski wrote all the lyrics. New drummer Matt Yonker, whose former positions included LTJ tour manager and hammering along with such punk outfits as the Teen Idols and the Queers, helps bring a new sense of urgency. And that album title? Yeah, that was decided upon long before bands began to offer face masks in their online merch stores. Pro tip: Dial back your preconceived notions. The only things the Jakes have to prove are to themselves. Their laurels aren’t so comfortable that they’d willingly choose to be painted into a retro- colored corner.
While Silver Linings doesn’t skimp on the joy, fun or grooves, careful listeners will sense a bit more reality seeping into LTJ’s escapism. The calisthenic bounce of “Lie To Me” is slightly undercut by Lima’s tales of how “the flames we hold the closest burn the worse.” On the urgent track “The Test,” DeMakes dares to seek some self-examination through someone else’s prism. “Dear Me” might be the first rock song that doesn’t couch its disdain for technology with poetic metaphors. That track addresses the loss of friends via distance and tragedy. The word “love” also appears in the album’s lyrics at three junctures. That detail should not be lost on anyone.
What else do you need to know about Less Than Jake in 2020? The band would tell you quite unpretentiously that they are here to bring a good time. Of course, LTJ would’ve said the exact same thing back in ’97, 2006, 2011 or 2018 when the Warped Tour’s punk ‘n’ roll roadshow was coming to an end. What makes things different now? Why, nothing less than a divided nation and a dangerous pandemic. Consider Less Than Jake the first responders when your psyche doesn’t think it wants to continue. Because we do need all the joy and levity a seasoned ska-punk band can dish out. The reality that LTJ are also feeling reminds us that some kind of triumph is within our reach.
In 2020, there’s no “scene,” merely good times and worse ones. For Less Than Jake to call their new album anything else but Silver Linings? Well, that would be fronting.
