Power Trio The Dead Deads Drop “In For Blood” Video
Upcoming Album Tell Your Girls It’s Alright Due 2021
The Dead Deads – “In For Blood”
THE DEAD DEADS, a power trio that combines elements of alt rock, punk rock, and metal into a fingerprint-distinct blend, have shared the video for their new single “In For Blood.” The track lives on the band’s upcoming album, Tell Your Girls It’s Alright, due out in 2021.
After years of admiring the work of director Jeremy Ryan (Meghan Lindsay, Louis York, Crystal Lewis, Chingy), The Dead Deads were able to realize the dream of working with him on the “In For Blood” video. “We wanted the video to seem like something you would have seen in the ’70s,” the band says. “Jeremy has a mastery of that timeless aesthetic and plus he’s completely hilarious and a genius.” “In For Blood” already has the makings of an indie smash, garnering over a million streams in just a month’s time. The song also landed on multiple playlists, including Spotify’s Rock This, New Noise, Fierce Femmes, and New Rock, along with Apple’s Breaking Hard Rock and Breaking Rock, as well as Amazon’s Breakthrough Rock and Fresh Finds Rock.
Featuring McQueen on drums, Daisy on bass, and Meta on guitar, The Dead Deads play with metal and grunge riffs and fashion them into pop hooks, laced with dynamic vocals that range from sweet melodies and harmonies to screams and even the occasional growl. The end result is sonically exhilarating.
The Dead Deads have established themselves as a live act not to be missed, performing on more than a dozen U.S. tours, two Canadian tours, and four cruises. They were also invited to join tours with Seether, Bush, Chevelle, Stone Sour, and other national acts. To date, the trio has released a live album, two studio albums, and a split 7-inch single.
Punk-rock icons Goldfinger have announced their highly anticipated album Never Look Back will be released December 4, 2020 via Big Noise. This release marks the official return of original guitarist Charlie Paulson to the band, joining John Feldmann, Mike Herrera, Philip Sneed and Nick Gross.
Fans got an early taste of this forthcoming album with last month’s release of “Wallflower”, which can be streamed today here.
“’Wallflower’ was the last song I wrote for our upcoming album,” Feldmann shared in an exclusive interview with Alternative Press. “It’s coming out later this year on my own label (Big Noise) and that just is a very full circle moment that I am so proud of.”
Goldfinger formed in 1994 and has since been regarded as a contributor to the revitalization of ska music’s popularity in the mid-1990s before leading the charge on the 2000’s pop-punk movement. Outside of their music, Goldfinger has always been active and outspoken about a variety of political and social issues, especially animal rights.

You start realizing you’ve made mistakes, causing harm to not only others, but also to yourself. To confess, to acknowledge, and to accept these mistakes can be a very painful pro

AVATAR’s current album Hunter Gatherer, out now via eOne, marked the darkest and most thought-provoking release of the band’s over decade long career. A striking and bold manifesto, the album is an unflinchingly ruthless study of a clueless humankind’s ever-increasing velocity into an uncertain future, furthering the reach of the band’s always expanding dark roots. The band’s ambitious new era found the band featured as the cover story of Revolver Magazine’s Fall Issue, where frontman Johannes Eckerström reflects about the power of live performance during a year that has changed the landscape of live music. In 2019, AVATAR reunited with producer Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax) at Sphere Studios in Los Angeles, California, where the foundation for each song on Hunter Gatherer was laid with the band performing altogether, as they’d done only once before, on Hail the Apocalypse (2014). The old-school method of playing as one in the studio, more akin to how they are on stage, captured the essence of AVATAR. Recorded entirely to two-inch tape, Hunter Gatherer exhibits everything that makes AVATAR standouts in the vast, rich landscape of heavy metal’s past and present.
Avatar is: Johannes Eckerström – Vocals / John Alfredsson – Drums / Henrik Sandelin – Bass / Jonas Jarlsby – Guitars / Tim Öhrström – Guitars

Platinum certified Los Angeles trailblazers Hollywood Undead have today released their new single, “Gonna Be Ok” from their forthcoming album “New Empire Vol. 2” produced by Matt Good (Asking Alexandria, Sleeping with Sirens) and out via BMG/Dove & Grenade. Their latest buzzworthy single showcases swagger-inducing guitar riffs, hard-hitting, blunt force beats and up-by-your-bootstraps lyrics, all of which are key components synonymous with Hollywood Undead‘s iconic style. Johnny 3 Tears shares:
“Gonna Be Ok is about that precarious place we sometimes find ourselves, the brink between salvation and sanity and our desperate plea to ourselves that everything will be alright.”
Listen to “Gonna Be Ok” here, and watch the lyric video here or by clicking below.
The first part of the New Empire duo, New Empire Vol 1 was released in February of this year and spawned hits “Already Dead“, “Time Bomb“, “Heart Of A Champion“, and “Nightmare” to great acclaim with Consequence of Sound claiming “New Empire Vol. 1 finds the band in a much heavier setting than usual”, Inc. Magazine stating “Fifteen years in, and in an industry where careers are often measured in months, [they’re] releasing a killer new album,” and Billboard asserting “Hollywood Undead shows no signs of slowing down.”
Since the release of the first half of the two part opus, the band has released three singles from New Empire Vol. 2 including the genre-bending smash hit “Idol” featuring none other than preeminent rapper Tech N9ne, the evocative single “Coming Home” and smokin’ hot mega-banger “Heart Of A Champion” featuring Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills. Speaking about New Empire Vol. 2, Johnny 3 Tears shares:
“New Empire began with the deconstruction of the society we live in today, taking it apart piece by piece. New Empire will end with reimagining a new world. The bell will be tolled signaling the end and ultimately the beginning of a brave new world.“
THE PRETTY RECKLESS have announced their fourth album, Death By Rock And Roll. The album will arrive on February 12 via Fearless Records. Pre-orders are live here.
The album, which follows 2010’s Light Me Up, 2014’s Going To Hell, and 2016’s Who You Selling For, is titled after the first single, which rocketed to No. 1 on the rock charts and held strong for several weeks. It marked the fifth No. 1 single of the band’s career and was heralded by Paper, Loudwire, CNN, Forbes, and more. The band also has the incredible and impressive distinction of being the first female-fronted band to have back-to-back No. 1 singles at the active rock format and the first female-fronted act to have five No. 1 singles on the Billboard chart.
The Pretty Reckless have shared the brand new song “25.” Listen below:
“’25’ is an interesting song that came from a lot of different places,” powerhouse singer Taylor Momsen says. “It was the first song we recorded for the record in early 2019. I had just turned 25 when we wrote it. In a way, it’s an autobiography and hopefully shows that this album really ventures out into new territory with the music.”
DEATH BY ROCK AND ROLL TRACK LISTING: “Death By Rock And Roll” “Only Love Can Save Me Now” “And So It Went” “25” “My Bones” “Got So High” “Broomsticks” “Witches Burn” “Standing At The Wall” “Turning Gold” “Rock And Roll Heaven” “Harley Darling”
