New Orleans band CANE HILL have dropped the video for another brand new song titled “Kill Me.”
Watch and listen below:
“I think if this year has taught me anything, it’s that this dreadful voice of negativity in my head is loudest when my life is quiet,” explains singer Elijah Witt about the song’s relatable subject matter. “Just like everyone else, my mental health has taken a steep decline this year, and giving life to that horrific voice was the easiest way for me to try and combat it. ‘Kill Me’ is what I feel in the parts of me I can ignore when life is normal.”
About the accompanying video, which is stepped in the traditions and culture of their native city, Witt says, “‘Kill Me’ adds another chapter to ‘Krewe De La Mort’ that continues to bring Louisiana folklore to life. Building upon the visual intensity we established with ‘P.O.T.H.,’ we worked closely with Dreamseeker Productions in further exploring elements of witchcraft and the occult while staying true to these Cajun tales.”
Cane Hill recently returned with the brand new song and video “Power of the High.”

Los Angeles rock duo Dead Posey have today released their latest unplugged EP “Malfunction X Broken Down” via Sumerian Records/Position Music. With haunting vocals and hypnotic guitar, the EP features acoustic interpretations of their “Malfunction” EP released earlier this year. The band have also released the first music video off the EP for their chilling cover of Depeche Mode’s classic hit “Never Let Me Down Again“. Listen to “Malfunction X Broken Down” here, and watch the music video here or by clicking the image below.
Speaking on “Malfunction X Broken Down“, Dead Posey shares:
“While working from home during the crazy year that has been 2020, we wanted to show a different flavor of the “Malfunction” EP released earlier this year. Our music has had a good deal of production bells and whistles baked into it, so we wanted people to enjoy these songs in their rawest form with our two voices, an acoustic guitar and not much else. For good measure we threw in a cover of one of our favorite songs from one of our favorite bands – “Never Let Me Down Again” by Depeche Mode. We wanted to show the song in a totally different light – sultrier, moodier and more dream-like. Turn the lights down, light some candles and enjoy.”
DEAD POSEY Malfunction X Broken Down EP Track Listing
1.Head Of The Snake (Acoustic) 2.Parasite (Acoustic) 3.Bad Things (Acoustic) 4.Holy Roller (Acoustic) 5. Never Let Me Down Again (Acoustic)
Like ghosts from rock ‘n’ roll lovers past, wedded duo Dead Posey‘s aggressively provocative sound lingers between two worlds like Jekyll & Hyde, instantly hypnotizing you. Following up on their debut EP Freak Show, Danyell Souza (Vocalist/Producer) and Tony F. (Producer/Multi-instrumentalist -formerly of Eve 6) have concocted a world from the dark corners of their minds with their 2nd EP, Malfunction, which is available for order here.
Dead Posey broke into the rock scene in 2018 with their Sumerian Records debut EP Freak Show and standout track “Don’t Stop The Devil”, which now has over 20 million digital spins from their ever-growing ardent fanbase. Feeding a vigorous appetite for performing live, Dead Posey has unfurled their punk-infused high-octane live shows at notable festivals such as Louder Than Life and Aftershock and have unleashed their riveting energy on illustrious stages such as Rock City and Electric Ballroom in the UK, Gramercy Theater in NYC and other iconic venues in the US.
Dead Posey’s music has been heard in Fox’s Lucifer, MTV’s Teen Wolf, Marvel shows like Cloak & Dagger and Jessica Jones and Netflix’s Jack Whitehall –Travels With My Father among others, as well as in ads for Taco Bell, Sony PlayStation, Riot Games’ League of Legends, and many more. The duo has been featured in the likes of The Huffington Post and Guitar World Magazine, Hot Topic on their “I Like Scary Movies Experience” feature, popular podcasts such as The Boo Crew & The Fred Minnick Show and more.
Greta Van Fleet, the GRAMMY-winning, GOLD-certified rock’n’roll band, shared their visionary new video for the song “Age of Machine” today. The video can be viewed HERE.
The video creates a new universe filled with symbolism and open to interpretation, with whispers of reflections on modernism. It is a response, a tiny piece of art in a very large conversation – four brothers and friends who spend very little time online, filled with questions – where is technology taking us, what does it all mean, and what are we trading in exchange? The video addresses the crumbling beauty around us, but leaves the final significance to the viewer – whether that narrative be focused on climate, industrialism, intimacy, self confidence, tradition, humanity itself, or otherwise. The only clear concept in the video is that the band chooses life.
The “Age of Machine” music video was co-directed by Greta Van Fleet and Matthew Daniel Siskin. The new song released last Friday with the announcement of The Battle at Garden’s Gate, the band’s new album due April 16, 2021 (Lava/Republic Records).
AVATAR premiered the official music video for the track “A Secret Door”, taken from their celebrated new album Hunter Gatherer, out now via eOne. Now accompanied by the band’s signature always outside-the-box and powerful visuals, “A Secret Door”, which features whistles contributed by Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR), is an anthemic and chugging highlight from the record, which was subsequently named one of the best albums of 2020 by Loudwire and Revolver Magazine.
AVATAR’s ambitious new era, ushered in by Hunter Gatherer, also saw the band featured as the cover story of Revolver Magazine’s Fall Issue, where frontman Johannes Eckerström reflected on the power of live performance in a year where there was very little. Luckily for fans, the band has announced their upcoming 4-part concert film experience, Avatar Ages – An Impossible Concert Experience, to take place over the course of January 2021. The special event will feature performances from throughout AVATAR’s celebrated catalog, starting with, Hunter Gatherer, followed by feature fan-voted setlists. Tickets, voting, and the performance schedule are now available here.
2020 was not a great year. While we had some great music this year, we also received some terrible albums in rock, metal, alternative, etc. This video takes a look at the Top 5 worst albums of 2020.
