Flogging Molly and The Interrupters have announced a Summer co-headlining tour, kicking off on June 7 in Indianapolis, with Tiger Army and The Skints supporting on all dates.
Dave King, Flogging Molly singer/guitar player, says of the tour: “We’re excited to share the news of our upcoming tour with the one and only, The Interrupters. We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone, and having a great time together. Let’s have some fun in the sun!” While The Interrupters rejoice the return of live music, “We are stoked to announce our Summer Tour with the legendary Flogging Molly, Tiger Army and The Skints! We can’t wait to sing together, dance together and celebrate live music with everyone! See you all very soon!”
Despite COVID touring setbacks throughout 2020 and the first half of 2021, The Interrupters kept fans engaged with a live album release and an inspired cover of Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” which went on to be featured in season 2 of the Netflix Original series The Umbrella Academy. As touring resumed in late 2021, the group embarked on one of the year’s largest rock n’ roll tours supporting Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy on the Hella Mega Tour.
Flogging Molly, who recently released their soon-to-be-classic single “These Times Have Got Me Drinking” (https://riserecords.lnk.to/TTHGMD) via Rise Records, celebrate the return of their free, outdoor annual St. Patrick’s Day festival this Thursday at the Hollywood Palladium. Having livestreamed the 2021 event, the band mix the best of both worlds for 2022, with the concert being broadcast worldwide via a simultaneous livestream (tickets: Floggingmolly.veeps.com). Flogging Molly set sail on March 28, helming the sold-out Salty Dog Cruise, which also includes performances from the Descendents, Frank Turner, Agent Orange and more.

We have waited nearly two years for real touring and festivals to commence … wait no more!! Cherry Bombs bring an exciting and entirely new way to experience rock and roll music. You won’t believe your eyes watching their daredevil acts, feminine power, fearless and dynamic performances featuring dance, fire, aerial, grinding, stilt walking, and so much more.
Alicia Taylor shares, “We are beyond thrilled to be invited to perform at Louder Than Life and Aftershock in 2022! It feels incredible to be accepted alongside the incredible bands that are on the bill and solidifies that there IS a place for us in the world of rock and metal. We are carving out our own unique path and are eternally grateful to those like Danny Wimmer and team for seeing something in us.”
Corey Taylor adds, “Everybody has their favorite tours. I have been very fortunate to have been a part of so many over the years. To not only be able to tour with my wife, but also to know that they are putting on an amazing show as well, I can maybe think of a handful of people who can say that. Get ready for a rad time!“
Tune in now: Girl Gang Season 4 – premiered March 9th on YouTube. Follow the Cherry Bombs, one of the first groups to tour during the pandemic. Watch how they face the obstacles and achieve success!
Alicia Taylor explains “When CoreyTaylor and I started putting together our tour during 2021, we were one of the first acts in our genre to accomplish this during the pandemic. We wanted to do it right, by reducing as many risks as possible- to not only prove to ourselves, but to our industry, that perhaps there is a way to adapt and make shows happen. We covered as many bases as possible: temperature checks, consistent testing on the road, reduced capacity at shows, requiring masks, we stayed in a bubble- we really wanted to make this tour a success. Girl Gang 4 is all about that tour, and the process behind making it happen.”
2019 saw the premiere of the YouTube docu-series titled, “Girl Gang“, which pulled the curtain back to reveal what it takes to put on such a unique show. The series has been met with overwhelmingly positive reception for its raw storytelling and willingness of the performers to show vulnerability. Episodes focus on the inner-workings of Cherry Bombs, including the adventures, challenges, and triumphs they experience.
Like many in the industry, the pandemic of 2020 forced Cherry Bombs to cancel their tour. However, they adapted quickly, and filmed their headlining show, Macabarét – a story of karma wrapped in temptation, action, and danger around every corner. This “eyegasm” of a movie was streamed worldwide and met with rave reviews, cementing it to become an annual event every October.
About CHERRY BOMBS: Cutting their teeth in the world of motorcycle rallies, they soon climbed the ranks of live entertainment by being the first group of its kind to bag a national tour with Buckcherry and Black Stone Cherry in 2016. Since then, Cherry Bombs have appeared in performances and tours nationally and internationally (Stone Sour/Steel Panther, Corey Taylor, KNOTFEST Mexico, ForceFest Mexico, KNOTFEST Colombia), on television (AEW), and in numerous music videos (Corey Taylor, 21 Savage, Fozzy, Moonshine Bandits).
The most recent single by Nashville hard rockers, Abby K, made it’s star-studded debut recently while on tour with Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper). “99ºC” shakes up the typical melodic rock sound brought to us by Abby K by bringing on a heavier sound matched with an even fiercer attitude. Abby K states that the song is “like a 4 minute long panic attack”. The band still holds true to their meaningful lyricism while packing a punch with a new sense of raw aggression not yet heard by Abby K fans, making “99ºC” a brand new chapter for the group.
Leading up to their debut album, Abby K has launched a Kickstarter to help gain funding for the record. With worthwhile rewards for donations ranging from $5 to $1,000, there is an option for any music fan to help get these young and hungry rockers into the studio. If their funding goal is met by the end of March, Abby K will head into the recording studio in June and listeners can expect a full length record in October. The group has over 60 songs in their arsenal and are eager to make a dent in getting them recorded and onto your playlists. To support this talented trio, please consider selecting a reward on their Kickstarter.
“Water boils at 100°C. “99°C” is about being on the verge of your breaking point and reaching the degree at which you boil over. I wrote “99°C” in the heat of the pandemic. Like most people, my mental health declined quite a bit during quarantine, and writing “99°C” was very therapeutic for me. Now that it’s released and so many people are relating to it, it makes me feel like I’m not alone!” – Abby K
Abby K is a bassist, vocalist, and songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina. She picked up the bass at age 13 after being influenced by Gene Simmons at a KISS Concert. Months into her musical journey, she was 1 of 3 bassists in the United States selected to attend GRAMMY Camp in Los Angeles, CA. She claims that her proudest moment was when Nita Strauss joined her onstage to perform Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper”. Since then, she has developed her own style of musicianship which is commonly described as the love child of Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) and Lita Ford.

Today, multi-Gold and Platinum Swedish metal band SABATON, sees its new album, The War To End All Wars (Nuclear Blast) debut at #1 on Billboard’s Current Rock Albums and Current Hard Music Albums charts. Additionally, the album took the #1 spot in Germany, #1 in Sweden, #2 in Norway, and #2 on the UK Rock & Metal Chart.
Also today, SABATON announces “The Tour To End All Tours – North America 2022,” a 25-date U.S. trek that will include a special headline show at Montreal’s Place Bell, the band’s first-ever arena headline concert in Canada. The tour, produced by FPC Live, kicks off on Thursday, September 15 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA, and will wrap up at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on October 23. Supporting Sabaton on all dates will be special guest Epica, the renowned Dutch symphonic metal band. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 18 at 10:00AM (local); go to https://www.sabaton.net/tour/ for all special pre-sale and purchasing information.
Known for its high energy and electrifying live shows, each song is an epic tale of real-life military encounters and the men and women who lived them. Despite the thousands of shows Sabaton has performed, the line-up – Joakim Brodén/vocals, keys, Pär Sundström/bass, Chris Rörland/guitar, Tommy Johansson/guitar, and Hannes Van Dahl/drums – not only sets a potent tone of power and velocity while having so much fun on stage, but a communal one, not just interacting with each other, but engaging those in the audience and playing every show with the intensity of their first.
“We’re all looking forward to this tour,” said the band’s Pär Sundström. “It will have been three years since we’ve brought our headline show to America, so we are more ready than ever. And, with the release of our new album, we now have a vault full of new songs to play.”
“The Tour To End All Tours” is in support of Sabaton’s tenth album, The War To End All Wars, which was released March 4 (Nuclear Blast) and is receiving glowing reviews: BraveWords called the album “a work of art,” The Metal Voice described it as “a masterpiece…Sabaton’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon,’” and Metal Injection dubbed it “epic in scope and attitude.”
“With our last album, ‘The Great War,’” added Brodén, “we found that we had only scratched the surface in terms of the powerful stories of courage and bravery and also the horrors that took place during the first World War. Fans would contact us and tell us these amazing stories from World War One that none of us had ever heard of before. Incredible stories about everyday people who were willing to give their lives for something bigger than themselves. These were stories of a frightening and liberating time in history that had to be told.”

Roadrunner Records band Motionless In White have announced their anxiously awaited new full-length album, Scoring The End of the World, set for release on June 10, 2022.
Vocalist Chris Motionless elaborated on the ambitious new project stating, “‘Cyberhex’ is my love letter to you, our fans, for everything you have done for me over the course of some of the most mentally taxing few years I’ve had to go through. At times where I felt like my world was ending, as well as the world around us, it was always in my mind that I was able to turn to the special relationship we have created together for help, and I cannot thank you enough for that. Outside of my own personal experiences, it has been equally as fulfilling to me to see that in the face of tireless forces that continue to try and perpetuate hatred and negativity towards so many of us coexisting on this planet, we have all stood together to resist and fight back knowing that love and compassion will always prevail. We ARE the resistance. We ARE Cyberhex. I love you. Thank you.”
On “Cyberhex,” an ominous synth melody snaps like the click of a trigger into a pummeling glitchy guitar riff as vocalist Chris Motionless warns, “There’s no tomorrow.“ His apocalyptic verses give way to a robotic sample, “Initiate Cyberhex,” before the cataclysmically catchy chorus takes hold. Strings pierce the militaristic bridge, and screams cut through the chaos. In what may be their most cinematic visual yet, the story of the song comes to life on-screen under Olson’s deft direction.
Scoring The End of the World fully encompasses the expanse of the band’s dynamic, deep, and dark vision, and marks the band’s first full-length body of work in three years since 2019’s Disguise. The latter has quietly made a major impact on rock music and culture. The single “Another Life” stands out as their most-streamed song ever with over 23 million YouTube views on the music video. The record claimed a spot on Loudwire’s “50 Best Metal Albums of 2019,” plus it ignited the creative renaissance that would set the stage for the statement-making Scoring The End of the World.
Later this month, Motionless In White will kick-off a massive triple co-headline North American tour. Deemed the Trinity of Terror Tour, the run will feature the unholy triumvirate of Motionless In White, Black Veil Brides, and Ice Nine Kills and will be the first time ever that fans get to see all three bands on the same stage each night [full itinerary below]. The coast-to-coast outing, which will see the three bands alternating closing sets each night, is set to kick off on March 17 in Mesa, AZ and make stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Philadelphia, and more, before wrapping up with a performance at Norfolk’s Chartway Arena on April 27. For tickets and more information, visit here.
Last year, Motionless In White unleashed the standalone single “Timebomb.” It has gathered 5.7 million Spotify streams and 1.6 million YouTube views on the music video. Earning critical acclaim, Loudwire hailed it as “dark but uplifting – and heavy,””and KERRANG! urged “prepare your neck.“

An album review on Impera, the fifth studio album from Ghost. How do Papa Emeritus IV and the Nameless Ghouls sound with their stories about the rise and fall of leaders?
Ghost is a Swedish rock band that was formed in Linköping in 2006. In 2010, they released a three-track demo followed by a 7-inch vinyl titled “Elizabeth“, and later their debut full-length album Opus Eponymous. The song “Ritual” was chosen by Kerrang! as one of “The 50 Most Evil Songs Ever.” The Grammis-nominated album was widely praised and significantly increased their popularity. Their second album and major label debut, Infestissumam, was released in 2013, debuted at number one in Sweden, and won the Grammis Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album. The band released their third studio album, Meliora, in 2015 to much critical acclaim and high record sales, reaching number one in their home country of Sweden, and number eight in the United States. Its lead single, “Cirice“, earned them the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. The band released their fourth studio album, Prequelle, in 2018.
Impera is the fifth studio album by the Swedish rock band Ghost. It was released on 11 March 2022 and was produced by Klas Åhlund.
ALEXISONFIRE are excited to announce Otherness, the first full-length album in over 13 years from the band Rolling Stone declared “put Canadian post-hardcore on the map.”
Otherness will be released on June 24 via Dine Alone Records.
The album features 10 new tracks, including the explosive first single, “Sweet Dreams of Otherness,” which can be heard HERE.
The album is produced by AOF and mixed by punk stalwart Jonah Falco (Fucked Up, Career Suicide).
Says George Pettit, “This song was largely Dallas’ brain child, but over the course of writing this record, it became more of a mission statement for the band. It’s kind of about performance and embracing a new found confidence in a state of peculiarity.”
Pre-orders for physical variants are available Friday, March 11 at 11am ET HERE.
Each vinyl variant is 2×12″ with a gatefold jacket and printed inner sleeves. A limited deluxe edition variant, with an alternate lenticular cover, will also be available alongside curated Otherness merchandise. See below for details on all physical variants available for pre-order.
The video for “Sweet Dreams of Otherness,” directed by the inimitable actor/director Jay Baruchel (Goon, This Is The End, Random Acts of Violence, How to Train Your Dragon), premieres via the Alexisonfire YouTube channel at 6pm ET today. Fans can sign up for reminders to view the premiere alongside the band, who will join fans worldwide in conversation in the moments leading up to the premiere.
A continuous thread through the fabric of Alexisonfire is the state of otherness. Otherness drew us all to spaces where a band like this could be formed. We attract the type of individuals that have all felt the sensation of being strange or unique. Perceived or otherwise, otherness has followed us through childhood, adolescence, and into our adult lives. It drives our tastes and proclivities. It bonds us with ourselves and others. And make no mistake, even at our most domestic and mundane moments, we are true outliers. —Otherness mission statement
Otherness is the band’s most cohesive and self-actualized record to date. For those who need a refresher, AOF released four hugely successful studio albums, all Music Canada Platinum-certified: Alexisonfire (2002); Watch Out (2004); Crisis (2006); and Old Crows/Young Cardinals (2009). Crisis debuted at #1 on the Top 200 Soundscan (Canada), and Old Crows/Young Cardinals debuted at #2, and charted at #9 on the US Billboard Independent Album chart. The number of albums made outside of Alexisonfire by different band members over the years — including City and Colour, Dead Tired, You+Me, Dooms Children, and Billy Talent — could fill several record store bins.
The mix of classic Alexisonfire and newfound textures of “Sweet Dreams of Otherness” became a roadmap for the rest of the record. Dallas Green’s engaging croon; the urgent attitude of Wade MacNeil; the heavy bellow of George Pettit; all anchored by a mix of vulnerability, confidence, iconoclasm, and celebratory recklessness. As every Alexisonfire song persistently expands and contracts, bassist Chris Steele and drummer Jordan Hastings remain impossibly tight, locked into unrelenting swinging grooves.
Alexisonfire produced Otherness themselves in roughly a week. They kept it a “family affair,” working closely with folks who’ve been with them for years. Writing took place at the Dine Alone Records clubhouse. The album includes organ, keys, and pedal steel from Green’s longtime collaborator Matt Kelly. Jill Zimmerman and Darren “Jeter” Magierowski (who is also Steele’s cousin) engineered, at Jukasa Recording Studios.
“The biggest difference is the space we are all in. We were all really thrilled to make a record, and it was such a respite from what was going on in the world. It felt like life could be beautiful,” MacNeil says. “We were supportive of one another. Everyone was in such a good mood. It was such a treat to be able to do it again.”
As Revolver noted in 2019, “It’s hard to overstate the influence Alexisonfire had in post-hardcore through the mid-2000s, their combination of singing and screaming setting the blueprint for many artists to come.” Five guys playing aggressive rock (with no less than three of them singing and screaming) grew to a hockey-arena headlining phenomenon while pushing and pulling between spirited guitar leads, melodic might, and emotional weight.
“As much as we love playing the old songs, we don’t want to be a nostalgia act. The only reason to come back is if we feel we still have something to say,” Pettit insists. “We spent so much time on the road thinking that if we stopped, people would lose interest. But when we went away, it only got bigger. We all carved new paths for ourselves, so coming back to Alexisonfire is a purely enjoyable creative venture. Something special happens when we get in a room together.”

Nu-Core quintet Tallah, one of modern metal’s most explosive and unbridled forces, have announced their sophomore full-length album,The Generation of Danger, today. The album will be released on September 9th, via Earache Records and much like their debut album, will revolve around around an elaborate and horrific story, dreamt up by the band that will unfold over the coming months in the build up to release. Pre-orders are available now, HERE.
To further push the world-building boundaries the band are known for, Tallah have also released a desktop video that accompanies today’s announcement. Fans can play HERE to uncover aspects of the dark The Generation of Danger universe including the first new single ‘Telescope‘ and its accompanying music video that was also released today. Watch the video here or by clicking the image below and find the track on streaming platforms HERE.
Speaking on today’s announcement, Tallah frontman, Justin Bonitz shares
“’The Generation Of Danger’ is a completely new and fresh concept for us, both lyrically and instrumentally. We wanted to take what made ‘Matriphagy’ so good and jack it up to 150%. The tracks are monstrous, daunting, and the story the music tells dives into the idea of people hiding what they truly desire until someone else comes along and forces it to surface. It’s a concept album about a genius scientist who gets fed up with being swept under the rug. After the multi-billion-dollar corporation that employs him takes credit for his latest, award-winning invention, he snaps and retaliates against them by forcing them to take part in the greatest experiment the world of science has ever seen.”
Drummer, Max Portnoy adds
“Telescope is one of fastest and most chaotic songs on The Generation Of Danger. It was the first song I started working on for the record and it went through hundreds of changes. It’s one of my top picks from the album with the song having 2 different choruses. One being a melodic one and one with a more rap type of vibe. The song has a lot to offer.” “The TGOD game was something I’ve been wanting to do since we started thinking of unique ways to present this album. It was an idea I hadn’t seen anyone do before and it’s the perfect way of setting up the album’s concept while offering loads of easter eggs and teasers. You’re essentially placed directly into the story and I feel it’s the most immersive thing we’ve ever done. I’m super proud of how it turned out.”
As with Tallah‘s debut full-length, Matriphagy, The Generation Of Danger offers fans more than just an album of pioneering nu-core metal. Whilst it will most certainly be lauded for Justin Bonitz‘s acclaimed aptitude for embodying numerous characters and emotions in his outstanding vocal shape-shifting and ability to meld the ever-blossoming ingenuity of Tallah’s intrepid musicians, The Generation Of Danger will reward those who delve deeper into the album and its supplementary content. The album was recorded once more with producer Josh Schroeder at Random Awesome Studio and continues to build the fascinatingly dark nu-core metal beast Tallah have created and set loose.

After a wildly successful past year following the release of their latest album Horizons/East, California rock band Thrice are embarking on a co-headlining tour with punk outfit Bayside. The tour kicks off on June 3 in McKees Rocks, PA, and will be visiting cities throughout the United States with special guest Anxious. Pre-sale tickets are available now at https://thrice.net/. All additional tickets go on sale Friday, March 11 at 12pm ET on www.thrice.net
On the upcoming tour, Thrice drummer Riley Breckenridge shares, “We had a blast on our Horizons/East headline tour last fall and can’t wait to get back on the road with Bayside and Anxious and share more of the record with you all.”
Released in September 2021 via Epitaph Records,Horizons/East conveys a palpable sense of danger, determination, and possibility. The album exemplifies art as a work of recognition — the human task of perceiving oneself amid details, disasters, and blessings as a relentlessly relational phenomenon among others. In this, Horizons/East is the rare rock album on which interrelatedness is a theme, painting an adventurous and lush landscape mixed by Scott Evans that the band self-produced and recorded at their own New Grass Studio.

To emerge from a global pandemic with a renewed sense of situational awareness, hard won insight, and a new album is the kind of move we’ve come to expect from Thrice over the last twenty years. With the band’s newest album Horizons/East, Dustin Kensrue and his bandmates address, with candor and courage, the fragile and awkward arrangements that pass for civilization, while inviting us to dwell more knowingly within our own lives. Without surrendering any of the energy and hard edge of their previous albums, they’ve given us a profoundly meditative work which serves as a musical summons to everyday attentiveness.
Since forming Thrice with guitarist Teppei Teranishi, bassist Eddie Breckenridge, and drummer Riley Breckenridge in 1998, Kensrue has never been one to back down from a mental fight. Horizons/East communicates comfort with uncertainty, its uncertainty as the beginning of wonder. Not knowing something for certain can occasion a blossom, an opportunity, as opposed to a dead end.
This uncertainty is something the band seems to embrace with their entire career, and especially in their approach to this record, building out their own studio and recording completely on their own, unsure of what exactly they could extract from themselves this time around. Thrice seems ever eager to step out into these spaces unknown to them, unsure of where their feet will land, and the most recent record is no exception.
Formed in 1998, the Orange County-based four-piece is widely regarded as one of the most innovative rock bands of their generation. Featuring frontman Dustin Kensrue, guitarist Teppei Teranishi, bassist Eddie Breckenridge, and drummer Riley Breckenridge.
