There are thousands of bands not doing anything to stand out and are indistinguishable from one another? Why aren’t any of them embracing a gimmick? Heavy music needs more gimmicks.
The next list video will be about great bands with gimmicks. I think this is something worth expounding on and gimmicks should not be discouraged, especially as so much of rock and metal has lost popularity. There are very few bands that are trying to do something to be noticed in the sea of bands all sounding and looking similar.
