A fever returned to Virginia.
At their first performance back in roughly two years due to the pandemic, Fever 333 took to the stage on day two of Blue Ridge Rock Fest. After two songs, Jason Butler eluded to Stephen Harrison having a semi-homecoming as he originates from the south. The hills baked in the heat and dust definitely had a feeling of the deep south despite being in Virginia.
The crowd was wild for this demonstration. Riled up by the band, you could tell that the remaining energy was spent at Fever 333’s performance. This may not have been a true homecoming, but in some ways, it did feel that the group had returned to their favorite place: on stage. The photos and TikTok below will not do justice to just how animated and chaotic everyone is on stage. This was my third time seeing the band live and I somehow forgot just much Jason slides around from side to side, unable to stay still for two seconds.
