It was after Jason Aalon Butler took a 100+ ft microphone cable to extend into the seats surrounding MAPFRE stadium that the attendees in Sonic Temple realized Fever 333 was not an ordinary band.

Political statements, taking a stand and making sure everyone’s voices are heard are qualities of this supergroup. Making a point to acknowledge everyone’s similarities instead of their differences was a specific message between songs that brought everyone together.

Seeing this band live will definitely catch you off guard if you aren’t prepared. At one point, Jason lifted the rug covering the main stage and climbed under it while singing and jumping. As if he was a rap-rock puppy playing with everyone watching him. It was intense AND adorable.

It’s been a wild year for the California supergroup. This includes a Grammy nomination, the release of the debut album Strength In Numb333rs, and now being nominated for Best Song with “Burn It” by Kererang. This band has accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. See their live demonstration once and you’ll understand that they’ve earned their accolades.
