Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1995 by singer and pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody.[1][2] After recording independent albums, the band released their first full-length album, Fallen, on Wind-up Records in 2003. On the strength of hit singles “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal“, Fallen sold more than 17 million copies worldwide and helped the band win two Grammy Awards out of six nominations.

The Bitter Truth is the upcoming fifth studio album by American rock band Evanescence. It is scheduled for release on March 26, 2021, through BMG Rights Management and was produced by Nick Raskulinecz. The album is the band’s first in more than three years, following 2017’s Synthesis, as well as their first full album of new material since their self-titled third album (2011).
