This is the deathcore, metalcore, hardcore conglomeration done well in every style. Emma Boster’s singing regardless of volume or clean and unclean is impressive and you hear that throughout the runtime. Dying Wish sounds like they have evolved without losing their ferocity and edge. Songs like “Watch My Promise Die” have plenty of volume and bite, while “Paved In Sorrow” shows the cleaner talents of the band. The percussion track stands out specifically well. Drumming carries a lot of big moments in different songs and in creative ways. Unrelenting is the best way to describe Symptom Of Survival. 9/10.
