Canadian metal/hardcore band Counterparts will release their highly-anticipated, forthcoming album, You’re Not You Anymore, on September 22nd via Pure Noise Records. Before they do though, the band has teamed up with DecibelMagazine.com to unleash a ferocious new song called “Swim Beneath My Skin.” Pre-order the record now at http://notyou.ca.
“”Swim Beneath My Skin” is a song about how we allow ourselves to be so vulnerable it feels like another human being is literally making their way through your body. It’s often terrifying but for me, it’s necessary.” – Brendan Murphy (vocals)
Counterparts’ gripping new album, You’re Not You Anymore, is the band’s most turbulent record to date. The album features 11 vicious tracks, like “Swim Beneath My Skin,” “No Servant of Mine” and “Bouquet,” that blend the lines between hardcore and metal.
Counterparts will embark on a Canadian tour in support of the record in September, and additional tour dates will be announced soon. Follow them at https://www.facebook.com/counterpartsband for more updates.
