A7Xhave double (or tripled) down on both experimental rock, auto-tune, and hallucinogens for the surprise four-track EP Statica. A7X has even played the EP live as a between sets act, but it begs the question: Does anyone besides Avenged Sevenfold enjoy this? I get that they don’t have to make music that everyone loves. But I do wonder what the focus is now for Avenged Sevenfold as this new venture, after Life Is But A Dream… definitely leaves more questions than answers.
