Metal Church is an American heavy metal band. They originally formed in San Francisco, California in 1980 before relocating to Aberdeen, Washington the following year and briefly using the name Shrapnel. Their self titled debut album was released in 1984.
Damned If You Do is the twelfth studio album by American heavy metal band Metal Church, released on December 7, 2018 through Rat Pak Records.[1] This will be their first release with former W.A.S.P. drummer Stet Howland, who replaced longtime member Jeff Plate in 2017, and the second Metal Church studio album with vocalist Mike Howe since he rejoined the group in 2015. Music videos were made for “Damned If You Do” and “By the Numbers”.
