A Day To Remember was the band that woke everyone up at the main stage at Aftershock. On the third day of the festival of nonstop music, endless sun, and a surprising amount of dust, I don’t think any other band could have riled up the energy from a crowd like ADTR did.

From the opening Michael Buffer recording to the variety of music over their past discography (including the new song “Degenerates”), the Florida group gave everyone what they wanted. Confetti, steam cannons, pyro, crowd surfing, circle pits…the set had everything.

The new ADTR album You’re Welcome will be coming soon; the follow up to Bad Vibrations. Now signed with Fueled by Ramen, I’m extremely curious to see the direction that the band goes. As someone who greatly enjoyed Bad Vibrations and Common Courtesy, I’m hoping the trend of lasting good music continues. Everyone needs music worth replaying and remembering.

Setlist:
2nd Sucks
Right Back at It Again
Paranoia
Sticks & Bricks
Better Off This Way
Rescue Me
Have Faith in Me
I’m Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?
Degenerates
All Signs Point to Lauderdale
All I Want
If It Means a Lot to You
The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle
The Downfall of Us All

The band is currently on a headline tour through the US with I Prevail and Beartooth. You can find tour dates and upcoming info on their Facebook page here: A Day To Remember on Facebook
