311 AND THE OFFSPRING STAR IN FUNNY OR DIE VIDEO
WITH CAST OF SUPER TROOPERS 2 & ADAM CAROLLA
BANDS TO CO-HEADLINE ‘NEVER-ENDING SUMMER TOUR’
WITH SPECIAL GUESTS GYM CLASS HEROES KICKING OFF IN JULY
Getting ready to co-headline the highly anticipated blockbuster Never-Ending Summer Tour this July, 311 and The Offspring got themselves into a little bit of trouble with the fuzz on the way…
While 311‘s Nick Hexum [vocals, guitar] and The Offspring‘s Dexter Holland[vocals, guitar] chopped it up with Adam Carolla in an interview, 311‘s P-Nut [bass] and The Offspring‘s Noodles [guitar] got pulled over by none other than the Super Troopers–Officer’s Ramathorn (Jay Chandrasekhar) and Farva (Kevin Heffernan). Caught on camera (of course), the hilarious clip of this encounter just debuted exclusively on Funny Or Die. There may or may not have been a giant bag of weed involved, but you’ll have to see the two-minute video to find out more.
Super Troopers are riding high on the box office success of Fox Searchlight’s Super Troopers 2, which arrives via digital download July 3 and on Blu-Ray DVD July 17. Check out more info here.
311 and The Offspring, two of alternative rock’s biggest bands, will join forces for a summer party of 29 shows coast to coast. Both bands combined have sold in excess of 50 million albums over their 20+ year careers, are mainstays at alternative radio, boast dedicated fan bases and will provide a full night of sing-along alt-rock hits: 311 with “Down,” “All Mixed Up,” “Amber,” “Beautiful Disaster,” “Come Original” and The Offspring with “Self Esteem,” “Come Out And Play (Keep ‘Em Separated),” “The Kids Aren’t Alright” and “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” amongst others, will surely have fans on their feet belting along all night long. In addition, the co-headliners will be joined by special guests Gym Class Heroes as they ignite amphitheaters coast-to-coast. See below for itinerary. Tickets are on sale now at www.311.com or www.offspring.com.
